How would you describe a Mercury in Sag and then how would neptune conjunct it change it?

- inquisitive
- open-minded
- blunt, even provocative (which can be amusing for this Merc)
- natural teacher
- spiritual/religious
- philosophical
- goofy
- teaser
- visionary

Neptune conjunction should increase the interest in philosophical and spiritual matters and improve imagination.

multiple personalities. Imitating voices, especially foreigners. Blunt, but prone to confusion. Doesn't set boundaries. Dreams, convincing speech. Attractive speech. Entrancing speech.

Mines Conjunct Sag Sun and Pluto/JupiterAscendant in Scorpio though, 1st house

Sag's the best mercurial sign after Scorpio, Leo + Pisces, Imo.

Not exactly an answer to your question but I wanna share a pretty exceptional case (coming from a Virgo-merc.)
There was once someone on this LL-forum that got me completely mesmerized with his words, the way of formulating etc. (this even isn't my mommy language ha!) My Merc. *exactly* square his sag-Merc.
My Neptune conj. his Merc.
Well.. I guess he could formulate things in wider perspective, rare but in such a way that nearly made me fall of my chair ~ ☼ Oooww Fresh windddd ☼ *lemme breathe again & again!* Mmmusic!! (just trying to put it in words lol). Confess of hypnosis after the feast

It is in the detriment so will not work that well. I know people don't like me to talk straight but that is how I do Astrology.

Any planet in the detriment or the fall does not function with the ease of flow, so that area in life will be hard.

That is one man's opinion.

@Mir, I could kind of of relate to that mesmerizing speech. I have a Sag merc, and once during my internship, I was under this supervisor of a certain facility. It was relaxing just listening to him speak. He had this calming voice/aura. He has a Capricorn sun and Mercury. We have a Mercury-Neptune double whammy.

Very interesting, Karka. I did not know this about living in another dimension. Why do you say this?
I was thinking this would be more of a Pisces Mercury.
What do you think?

Neptune is the direct influence of Pisces

Wow, you're speaking my mind there. I, too, love the way Sagittarius Mercs have with their words, despite the square. Totally well-put, don't worry! Sounds super special. The Neptune sure helps.

Me, I like that Mercury sign a lot too. They can tell stories in a way that's just amazing. I could listen to their, uh, philosophies all day. So what if they get carried away, right? The bluntness is something to get used to - one of them would made me cringe at first, guess there's still a square - but I grew to really like it. They're very genuine, open and have a good sense of humour.

Sorry I didn't have much to say on the conjunction here. I just wanted to show some appreciation for this Merc sign.

Suffering from perpetual foot in mouth syndrome but so funny/charming that they can get away with it. If you ever want an honest opinion as a Sag mercury person.
