....on asteroids, minor planets and astrology.
I want more of a faster response so I'm posting this here because obviously people who visit the asteroid forum are interested.
Im not inquiring about a specific one anyways.At first i didn't take it seriously because I figured most of these bodies were discovered recently how would they have any significance in the ancient art of astrology? However I find them to be very revealing in synastry! What do you think about Ceres, do you think she'll be apart of the big leagues in the future?

My opinion is that I believe they have influence. With my limited knowledge I would think the orb has to be pretty tight for anything significant. It might be something you already know. LOL I'm still learning. It would make sense to me though that discovered by humans or not, they existed and had influence. If they have influence now they would have influence before discovery.
Maybe this is even why sometimes we have a difficult time explaining why for example, one Virgo may not seem very Virgo-ish. Perhaps in ancient Astrology they could feel, see and sense these influences but attributed them to the signs and planets that they knew. So perhaps there might be little things here and there attributed to a planet or sign that are from asteroids and such, perhaps not even discovered. Just as this debate about Vulcan.
Just saying my opinion on possibilities is all. Not trying to say factually because I don't know. lol Man... there's just a TON of things to study in one single chart. It's really amazing to me, fascinating at the complexity and possibilities.  IP: Logged |

Asteroids are kind of freaky sometimes. True story, I dated a girl named ashley and her name asteroid made a lot of aspects to my inner planets in synastry.IP: Logged |

Really most people count 2-3 degrees for an asteroid, and it is a dwarf planet not very different from pluto Besides Ceres tightly trines my sun,moon, mercury, venus and asc. Also in myth ceres is more involved in nature and motherhood, she was never kind to humans either. IP: Logged |

In fact, hmmmm... I think it was Ceres or Eris. I left the page and don't recall exactly. Anyway, it was about the same size as Pluto but much more mass (density). My coworkers grandfather told him, "Never give all your money and never give all your heart." My Ceres is Leo with an exact trine to Eris.

Ceres trine eris may be generational, so many people may have it who were born at the same time.If you look at personal planets and angle, the asteroids which conjunct these are more important cuz more personal. ------------------

Ceres semi-sextile Venus by 1 degree.
 I am also trying to remember the name of asteroid involved in an opposition with my sun, mercury and saturn. All that I know is that it makes the person experience lot of sudden twists and turns in life. IP: Logged |
