i know two with this placement and they are very earthy with really good instincts but far from the divine spirituality and compassion astrology says they are.
one of them is my mom(with pluto in 1st virgo opposite that mip & another friend)
Note: They both made sacrifices for their husbands, but other than this i dont see any other pisces trait.
How are they/you really?

I have mars in pisces, and most people find me to be very compassionate, but then again I also have moon and venus in pisces so perhaps the compassion comes from those placements. hehe. I am a taurus sun, by the way. I do have a very hard time being aggressive, and I think that is how mars in pisces shows in my personality..

I have known both women and men with mars in pisces, but no pisces elsewhere in their chart. like you said, I also notice the lack of compassion supposedly attributed to pisces, but I think that compassion comes from the moon and not the mars. the mars has made the people I've known lazy and very deceptive/like to lie a lot. the laziness and lies were true in every case. they were all interested in religion/spirituality to some extent, whether reading about it or attending church

i know of a mars in pisces woman, and, if angels are real, then she is one...
she is very compassionate, loyal...empathetic, always wants to help but, she sacrifices too much..like, her children take her for granted, and it doesnt seem she can set rules and tell them no! like, she is very passive in that aspect
and then, her bf...meh...he is always the one who ends up at her place, eating her food....i mean, shouldnt he be making some sacrifices too?
it is a beautiful aspect but, makes me sad to see such a wonderful person just..i dunno, not taking a stand for herself, but, maybe she is happy like that

I also got a friend with this placement, she is nice enough, but I think she had the same issue with her boyfriend...he had some problems I know, but he kinda took her for granted all the time...finally she left, but it took her several years...he was a musician and she was to ALL his concerts - ever. She was always there in the front line, so very supporting...she is still there sometimes I think, and they are still seeing each other, think they got a hard time letting go (taurus + scorp relationships)

My mumma is a Mars in Pisces! It's opposite her Moon in Virgo. She's sensitive to conflict but at the same time she's aggressive and short tempered. She used to be an alcoholic but kicked herself and has been like 20 years sober now. Uhmmmm...she's really scatter brained and wishy washy!!!! What was supposed to be a simple drive to get gas may turn into getting groceries, paying some bills, going to thrift stores, and visiting a relative!

Mars in Pisces makes the person seem ethereal in a way. They are usually very kind hearted but tend to be flaky, especially in relationships. Mars in Pisces is prone to infidelity. I have seen it numerous times with both men and women that have this placement.
