I think that Aries women naturally fit that "diva" archetype that we associate with female singers since they are cardinal fire--the first and their desire to be the best.

In the opera, the diva was the main attraction, the one the opera was based around. Etymogically speaking, diva is derived from the Latin word "Deus", meaning God. So in essence, she is a goddess.

In the gospel church (where rhythm & blues/soul originates from), the lead soloist was obviously reserved for the best singer in the choir, the one with the most powerful, soul-stirring vocals. Her vocal prowess would conjure praise and testimony to the Lord during the sermons.

I'm not sure *how* I forgot about Lady GaGa. As cooky as she is...I still like her...kinda. LOL. "Poker Face" was the one that simply 'did ittt' for me & got me on her bandwagon.

In either case, it's all very spiritually-based; interesting that several of the names listed in the OP have Neptune placements (Whitney had a Pisces ASC).
