I am a bit confused here , if I take a look at my house placement for Mercury, it appears that it is in the 9th house. Now, although my Mercury placement is supposed to be in the 9th house, I don't really seem to match the description for a person with a Mercury in the 9th house . I fit the description for a person with a Mercury in the 8th house.

I always like investigating things, I always like to decode people and I think about death a lot, I don't know why, it's just always on my mind. I find that sort of creepy. I also have a high interest in subjects that nobody knows about or can get a full understanding of (ie: astrology) . Usually a person who has their Mercury in the 8th house has those characteristics.

Now, if you look at my chart, I was born at 2:10pm according to what the nurses wrote down, but I somewhat believe that nurses are always approximating times and not writing down accurate times of birth. At 2:10pm Mercury was transiting through the 9th house, but it's like RIGHT on the edge getting ready to hit the 8th house.

If you change the birth time to 2:14pm Mercury hits the 8th house... So I'm assuming that since I have the characteristics of an 8th house Mercury person, couldn't that possibly mean that my birth time was off by a few minutes?

Or maybe I get these characteristics from having a Midheaven in Scorpio? That's why I'm confused...

Can someone please help me figure this out? Thank you

Remember the nurses always round the time up, so you could of been born before 8:10am.
