I guess I thought the mars and mercury and saturn would somehow equalize it . I was curious also about all the retrogrades and its effect on somebody.

How do you know they are truly superficial? Maybe that person is repressing and hiding fears and sensitivities under a superficial mask? ;-)

I don't really know, in fact I was thinking exactly what you said-that maybe they just are repressing their emotions. I am not a pro at astrology so I was just hoping someone could give greater insight into the chart. Like I said the mercury and mars stand out to me and all the retrogrades although i dont know if out planet retrogrades have any effect.

That is a great quality in friendships One of my best friends is gem venus and sun, she is sooooo nice and funny She havn't had a boyfriend ever though, I think she is too fast to catch :/

If there is one thing above all that turns me off it is superficiality in people, or phoniness. But this can be mistaken often and misconstrued. I am also mostly water in my chart so perhaps that's a personal bias which I learn to recognize.
