Is this really a significant turning point for the better?Apparently it marks a time where you stop treading water and begin an important period in your life where you make great strides to build excellent foundations to reach the top when transit Saturn will conjunct your Midheaven in 14 years time. So this particular transit will mark a time where I will quit my job and embark on a brand new study pathway that is completely different to what I have spent the last decade doing. I am scared, but confident it's the right choice. Transiting Uranus opposite Saturn isn't helping. It's making me rethink everything. Anyway - have any of you guys experienced the transit Saturn opposite Midheaven? Or had any experiences that you can remember with any Saturn/Midheaven transits? Any and all comments are most welcome. IP: Logged |

Hey Amphitrite, Saturn has been hovering over my IC since Nov. 2012. When it was one degree behind, at 6 degrees Scorpio, I had a pretty profound talk with my dad and realized how much control I have over my own life, and that I am the one to create it, therefore I should reach for the highest goals and go for it. It was a huge turning point and I decided to pursue a completely different path of work, which started in April during the saturn retrograde, and ended at the end of August 2013. I am now returning to what I was originally doing for work, but now for the first time ever (at 22) I am creating my own life, almost 100% independent from my family. It is terrifying and exciting and liberating all at once. Another thing, I was living off of savings from April-August and realized I want a home base, and I need money because my savings were dwindling. I happened to pick an excellent time to move to where I am now, as there is work available. I am absolutely without a doubt creating a strong foundation for myself. Not only in the literal sense, but also figuratively. I am developing strong roots as an individual, what I believe, who I am, what I stand for, and what I want in life. It was a huge turning point in life, and was an incredibly fun and informative time. Try not to be 'scared'. It's hard I know, I have saturn coming up to conjunct my pluto at the end of November, which will also exactly square my ascendant, so I know what that's like. Just be aware that something is coming, and try to be prepared as best you can. You never know, it could bring a lot of beauty and help to your life. ------------------ Cancer sun Leo rising Libra moon 17 July 1991 7:27am EST IP: Logged |

Does anyone have any more insights on this transits? What happened to you during this period and what influence did it have on you afterwards? (I heard it's often a transit of laying foundations...)IP: Logged |

I heard Saturn crossing your IC indicates a move. Seems likely for me (it will happen early next year).IP: Logged |

I have to move too in the end of august. I wouldn't want to. I have also unclear situation at work area in my life. It's not moving any direction at the moment. But I don't know if this has to do with Saturn as it started already last autumn. I would actually like to concentrate to fix my non-existing love life and not career stuff.IP: Logged |

This transit means Saturn conjunct IC/4th cusp, beginning its movement into the 4th house. That can signify trading the standards of the world at large and the implied goals for your own personal standards that will allow you to reach your own goals ... getting your own 'house in order.'Ultimately if either the parental relationship (4th/10th) or work demands (10th house) do not allow us to be true to ourselves, then changes are often timed when Saturn makes such strong transits to these natal points. When Saturn transited conjunct my Asc and square MC several years back, not only did I move 2200 miles, but had changes and disruptions in my work patterns. ------------------ The Declinations Guy Rising Sign Descriptions ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ IP: Logged |
