Topic: Thought on astrology + the astral plane

Anyone have any thoughts/theories on how they think astrology works? How the planets + stars effect us and how we can channel the astral energies? Energies? Particles? Vibrations? Soul of the cosmos? etc ... bit offball ...  IP: Logged |

Yes, panpsychism & collective unconsciousness. Astrology is our archetypes reflected back at us which is in the realm of the astral (that is it's not that the planets were named for their psychic influences but were imbued with psychic influences by how we named them as a species and reflected those attributes back to us)...at least as I define it. (It's so hard talking about mystical terms like "astral" as they mean such radically different things to different people even more than ordinary words.) IOW, I consider astrology metaphysics (a psychic force that ultimately originates with humanity rather than the object so imbued by our species, and affects those who are "attuned" to the collective mind that has come to accept it), not physics (like magnetism). I agree with you on the metaphysics The egyptians beleived the planets were living creatures and that their 'aura' is what effects us, they woke up each morning to prey to the planets...
I'm much more inclined to what you said haha, i have some theories but their difficult to go into ... I wonder if theirs other species being energized by the planets.
