And their asteroids! Do any of them make conjunctions to important parts of your chart?  I have Apollo conjunct my Sun and Hermes conjunct my Moon. Some asteroids I checked: Aphrodite, Hera, Artemis, Apollo, Poseidon, Hermes, Zeus, Hephaistos, Dionysus, Demeter, Hestia... IP: Logged |

I thought the major gods were correlated with the major planets, is their asteroids in thei name? I always thought the planets were the major and the asteroids were the minor. IP: Logged |

Hermes Conjunct Zeus 3rd

In Greek language the names for all the major planets are the same for the Olympian Gods,and are different from the English names. So the planets' names are these:-Mercury is Hermes(the messenger between the Olympian Gods) -Earth is Geaa ( the mother of Krone) -Mars is Ares(the god of War) -Venus is Aphrodite( the godess of beauty and love) -Saturn is Krone (a Titan who was the Father of Zeus) -Jupiter is Zeus ( Krone's son who was the strongest of all Olympian Gods) -Uranus is the same : he is the Father of Krone and -Neptune is Poseidon: God of the Sea -Pluto is the same: God of the Underworld Its a bit complicated actually, I can explain more of someone is interested. I've researched alot on this aswell, it's interesting. Saturn is Kronos and they are both the father .. Same with Zeus and Jupiter both being 'King' , Mars - Ares etc .. Ouranos was the first titan .. i wonder what that relates to the Age of Aquarius, if Uranus was the original Do you know if Hephaestus has a connection? IP: Logged |

Ouranos or Uranus(meaning of the word in Greek is "Sky") is the oldest of all, he was a Titane and he had married Gheaa( Earth) and they had children, one of them being Kronos (Saturn).
Kronos had children of his own but he had been told that one of his children would kill him, so he ate all of his children while still babies. His wife Rhea managed to save their son Zeus (Jupiter) by tricking Kronos(Saturn) with giving him a stone to eat and managed to send baby Zeus away. When Zeus was grown up he killed Kronos(Saturn), proving the profecy true. Now, Zeus was above all Gods, and was married to Hera(Juno) who was very jealous of all the affairs he kept having with other women.
Both Hephestus and Ares(Mars) were Zeus and Heras children, but when Hephestus was born, Hera threw him off the mount Olympos because he was not good looking, the fall from the Mount caused him to not be able to walk properly. But Hera took her son back to the Mount of Olympos, when she later found out that he wa a very talented metalurgist.

Zeus exactly conjuncts my Mars, Siva conjuncts my Mars as well, maybe I should leave my ASC alone and start paying more attention to my Mars  . Poseidon conjuncts my Sun, Saturn and Mercury. I don't know what they mean.IP: Logged |

Pluto is Hades (asteroid Hades)

I'd say Sagittarius should be Virgo's pollar opposite and not pisces ^-^
To me Virgo is a microscope looking in closely and Sagittarius is a telescope looking out in the wide open big picture. IP: Logged |

No, Virgo is only officially assigned to Mercury.
Vulcan is it's modern ruler while Mercury is it's co-ruler. IP: Logged |

In Greek language you can find both Hades and Pluto, they are considered to be the same.
Uranus and Ouranos are very similary pronounced in Greek, almost identical thats why I wrote that it is the same thing. I dont know the story behind the Roman Gods, but matching the Greek Gods to the planet makes perfect sense, IMO these should be the official names. IP: Logged |
