QUESTION: How do you know that person is your best love match forever, now and future??????

I follow vedic (eastern astrology) and I don't consider myself an expert but I know what I am doing and continue to learn astrology and help people.

Here are the rules and you can apply the rules to western astrology as well with careful work.
Rule 1/ Moon in both the charts: In the birth chart, Man’s moon must always come first before the woman’s moon. Let’s say Man’s moon is in 4th house of his birth chart. Then woman’s moon should be between 4th and 7th house in her chart (Max. of 3 houses from the moon of man’s chart). If the woman’s moon comes before the man’s moon, then not a good match. Also if the moon is in the 8th - 12th house of the woman’s chart, then no good as they don’t communicate and understand well even though the woman's moon come later than man's moon.

Rule 2/ Say for example, if man and woman has moon in the same house, then we have to look at the moon degree for both. The man’s moon degree MUST be lower than the girl’s moon degree. You apply the Degree rule ONLY when Moon is in the same house for both the birth charts.

Rule 3/ Venus in both the charts: In the birth chart, Man’s venus must always come first before the woman’s venus. Let’s say Man’s venus is in 4th house of his birth chart. Then woman’s venus should be between 4th and 7th house in her chart (Max. of 3 houses from the venus of man’s chart). If the woman’s venus comes before the man’s venus, then not a good match. Also if the venus is in the 8th - 12th house of the woman’s chart, then no good as they don’t communicate and understand well and hence no feelings thereby emotional conflicts and becomes disruptive.

Rule 4/ Say for example, if man and woman has venus in the same house then we have to look at the venus degree for both. The man’s venus degree MUST be lower than the girl’s venus degree. You apply the Degree rule ONLY when Venus is in the same house for both the birth charts.

Rule 5/ Ascendant Match: Boy and Girl should NEVER have same ascendant as it is the worst match. The matching is done based on lord of the ascendant and who are his friends.
Example 1: If Girl's Ascendant is Gemini which means the best match for the boy's ascendant will be Libra, Taurus, Aquarius or Virgo because of mercury friendship with venus and saturn.
Example 2: If Boy’s ascendant is Sagittarius which means the best match for the girl’s ascendant will be Pisces, Cancer, Leo, Aries or Scorpio as Jupiter is the lord of SAG and Moon, Mars and sun are his friends.

Rule 6/ Review the 7th house birth chart for both the man and woman to see any malefic and afflictions as 7th house is house of marriage, partnership and spouse. Planets like Rahu, Ketu, Mars and saturn causes affliction in the 7th house but also must look at other planet aspects as to who is seeing the 7th house planet. This may be complicated but also important.

Rule 7/ Look at the power/potency of Moon and Venus in both the chart of man and woman. Like for example venus and moon exaltation, debilitation,
own house etc.

This will be a GOOD BASIC lesson that I learnt from my master/teacher and sharing it to you guys.

Thanks,
Palputations

The problem with this is that most of the time, we don’t know their birth time.

VERY GOOD POINT and birth time is essential and must be correct for predictions. It is like going from point A to Point B and if you don't know Point B location, then you can't go

Thanks,
S

So if the woman has their moon in 8-12 houses, they are not marriage material?

Interesting, but don't agree with all of it...My husband and I share the same ASC, and he is the best relationship I have ever had. Both Cancer ASC.

So I'm f****d in other words. LOL

Moon in 9th
Venus in 12th
Nothing in 7th

I gotta say I will take this very very lightly. That sure rules out a lot of people completely

So what happens if the Moon comparisons are not good, while the Venus comparisons are good?

These rules make it really hard for women who have the Moon or Venus in early houses, and really hard for men with Moon or Venus in late houses.... They have almost nobody to choose from!

That was really fascinating information, yesyesnyes. I had never heard of this way of looking at charts before. But then again I am not versed in vedic astrology.

I am wondering. I think we need to remember that traditionally in India, most marriages were arranged so they may have a different idea of love than we do, therefore what works for them might not necessarily work for us.

In arranged marriages, I can't see where there is a basis for what we see as romantic feelings. I would think people enter an arranged marriage without too many illusions, with the understanding that there is enough compatibility between them to make things work.
