How powerful is it? Are North Node contacts felt from the first moment or they need time to "come out"? Is it the Node person that feels it first and most?

I find south node/planet conjunctions with another person ignite a new relationship much faster and with little to no effort. In my experience, whenever someone's planets conjuncted my south node, the person just instinctively sought me out and made the connection. I think north node is also a familiar connection in synastry, but it is less "comfortable" and familiar in feeling. Both are relevant in synastry, however. I also don't believe south node and planet conjunctions in synastry are negative or something to worry about. Many people in my life have had planets on my south node, and I've found them all to be important and life-changing (not something to avoid -- why avoid, anyway? I believe the experiences are what makes a person grow INTO their north node).

Edit: also, about when the connections are felt, it all depends. If someone has a stellium of major planets on one of my nodes, its an immediate thing in my experience. If its a little asteroid or something, it might not come out until later on (and it might not have the passionate, instant connection/impact).

I met someone who has his north node one degree from exact on my 7th house cusp, and my north node one degree from an exact conjunction to his saturn (he's a Capricorn)

I immediately felt a connection with him. I think he felt a strong connection to, he has said it a few times actually in different ways. He's a mess, but I showed him a lot and he learned a lot from what I showed to him. North nod contacts are powerful, don't underestimate them.

i have a north node and venus conjunct with a man. his north node also trines my ASC and conjuncts my sun/moon midpoint. our connection was absolutely felt immediately and even after 5 years we still have deep feelings for eachother. the love is realllllll feels like soulmate love. his also the only man i ever dream about. ive dreamed about him atleast 100 times so far and counting

One of my bosses has Sun-Jupiter-Neptune-Midheaven conjunct my north node in Sagittarius 27 degrees

I didn't feel like I instantly 'knew' him, our bond is brotherly/sisterly and was one that grew over time as we got to know each other. I was actually initially repulsed since we do have a lot of squares and we still fight heaps but I have no doubt this was fated. He has taught me a lot and has really helped me in my personal development, especially with not being so shy. To him though, I'm probably don't mean as much, but that's okay ^__^

Like already somehow said here... this was the most immediate thing (mutual) I ever felt. My venus on his South Node (1) and his Jupiter on my South Node (1,5).
A surrender from the first moment for both. We just had the guts to say *I neeeeeeddd u* more than once .. best song to my ears ever rrreally.
Frictions followed (ofcourse too good to be true is a lie) but it's still there and I guess we survived the whole stages of **** where most (myself incl.) would've given up long ago.

The first intense south node connection of my life. And I can see why. I must have forgotten the joy of my Leo-SN, came too much under the spell of my Aqua 'big pic' that always made me stand up/revolt against any guy who didn't share this view hence my reason to banish them. This one shares my view and so I have nothing to fight against when it comes to the 'same big pic' and so thrown back to my SN ~ by not the least gas giant JUPITER!

I only had NN-conjunctions before.
I guess it's all a matter of 'where are you standing *now*'.

I think Nodal contacts are the one's that in the end save the relationship (especially the North Node).
For example person A North Node is conjunct person B's Saturn and square person B's Venus. Person B has no aspect to her Nodes from Person A's planets. I think in the end Person B would feel that with Person A they have "no room to grow" and if Person C comes along and their Moon is conjunct Person B's North Node, along with other nice aspects, I think Person B would feel that relationship with person C has potential to grow into something beautiful.

North Node: both directions

NN represents small groups of people, from family members, work associates + boss, the social environments you frequent, teams and clubs you are part of and, all of your neighbors.

The aspects to the NN, represent your natal planets action towards the NN, and the NN's potential response toward the Synastry unit from the actions.

Interesting. Well, I've had a few significant relationships in my life.
The first and most longterm; My NN conjunct his Saturn and square his Venus (though pretty wide to the latter) and his NN didn't make any conj./opp. to my planets.
He fought as hell to *keep me* finally, well in fact he's the only one who fought like that for me lol. *I* wasn't ready to truly commit at that time.
BUT.. after 22 years we're still 'friends'. He married, got kids and I'm Always welcome with them, to eat ..play with the kids (I love them) etc.
He married a girl from his own country (same culture) and he made her very clear from the start he would never break contact with me and that *we* (me/my family) were 'his family'. Yea.. he's a true Scorp and it all happened as he wished.
He and his wife have the reversed NN-SN conjunction by 2 degr.

Someone i will never ever forget has his South node exactly on my Moon and his Sun squares my nodes exactly.

Mr. Uranus has his NN conjunct my MC by a degree + my Lilith sits exactly on his SN. It sure as hell feels fated, we have had many lifetimes together and there have been hints that he's my soulmate... His Moon widely conjuncts my NN, my Mars widely conjuncts his NN.

Sorry, I made very big mistake here!
I filled in '73 but she's from '74 and so... at 12 noon (don't have her birth-time) her MOON is exactly conjunct his SN!
(so NO reversed nodes!)

Xena yes we do we have moon/venus trine and moon/venus sextile......venus sextile mars.....venus conjunct pluto exact and pluto square venus...eros conjunct mars...eros conjunct ASC....moon sextile ASC...saturn trine moon..saturn conjunct mars,,saturn square venus....and 4 of his planets in my 12th...more but dont remember
