my ex and I had the square, and I was venus. miscommunication non-stop (and no other synastry factors/natal factors could've been to blame). it was just really tough - we offended one another constantly (verbally), even when we thought we were being nice to the other. he found my words insulting and I found his arrogant. tough. would like a trine or conjunction next time w/a partner and now when I read charts I don't overlook the importance of venus to mercury

I had the square and it wasn't QUITE the way described but miscommunication up the wazoo anyway. We were fantastic otherwise. I felt like we were on the same page but never knew it until after a lot of frustration trying to understand each other.
