in a natal chart? what would show that sexual intimacy is important for a person and that they dont just do it occasionally because it feels good? Like they need it in a relationship?

I have Mars in cancer, i'm not a one night stand person, i definately need some kind of emotional/mental connection before i feel safe. I think some 8th house aspects would indicate that intimacy is special to a person also.

I'm guessing you mean they can't just have it with just anyone cause its too important/special not as in high sexual drive/important? - either way I'd say pluto aspecting anything really, maybe especially venus and mars(?) and moon (?).

I believe 5th house placements, venus mars placements, mars and pluto placements. Watch out where Saturn is. Saturn cannot be near venus mars, 7th or 8th houses.

I know someone with sun, moon, venus and mars in aquarius squared by pluto in scorpio and they can still be very detached and aloof in sexual matters.. as in it's still not that special to them and they can do it with anyone..

I know an aries mars who has an aquarius asc, gemini sun and scorpio moon. He could handle intensity and didn't dive into relationships, but sex was nothing more than a physical act and could do it with whomever, whenever he felt like (no emotions didn't effect him).

Going by TV, movies, both men and women magazines I see sold at counters, I'd say that's the norm. Plenty complain about the lack of sex in a relationship (plenty won't even consider anything love that doesn't include sex). Some seem to need the sex more for issues of self-esteem and validation or even just something to talk about, though given what sexual beings we are even before being born (referring here to fetal masturbation) probably means that's just how it affects the instincts most everyone has (which is why sex, and the promise of it, sells so much).
