Hi everyone, was just curious what placements in ones chart would make someone one want to travel alot or get itchy moving feet? Where you almost feel like your missing out on something by not seeing new places. I think I read somewhere a strong 9th house?

This is just an example but I think that pisces moon in 4th or 9th house can suffer from serious wanderlust, I think it's pretty romantic though<3

I have a case of wanderlust and I used to move around a fair bit. Different rooms, blocks, cities, suburbs, states, countries...

When I was younger I often moved out of necessity. But as I get older it becomes a habit and/or something that I crave. Idk. The excitement of being in a new environment and not knowing what lies ahead is pretty addictive. Seeing new things, meeting new people, working to get used to new environment/new jobs...etc..

To me, there is novelty in having a fresh start in a place where no one knows who I am. It's a bit like "playing" a new character.

As soon as I "feel the itch", I just want to pack immediately.

When I was little, my parents moved around a lot, from the north to the south, from one city to another. I guess my "habit" stems from that.

There isn't anything in my chart that can explain it, perhaps except for sag mercury in the 12th, very loosely conjunct Uranus.

I have my Moon in the 9th House. I have had a VERY strong case of "wanderlust" lately. So *I* am what this thread is about!

I want to travel very badly but finances do not permit at this time. I'll eventually move out of this city ALTOHETHER. I feel like I'm just too deep of a thinker...and too adventurous of a spirit, for most people here. I don't relate to them! For once - I want to feel like someone is educating *ME* rather than me always educating THEM. I've got so much more to experience in life and I feel held back from it at this moment -- but it's improving.

I've got wanderlust, too! My parents decided to move to another town when I was six years old. They called me into their room to try and "break it to me" that I'd have to switch schools, make new friends, and all that. I was just ecstatic about the whole adventure of it, started celebrating right away!

I travelled all my life, but once my husband and I started having kids, we stopped going on vacations. It's killing me. But we recently bought a boat and I dream of sailing far...'would like to sail to, and then move to, the Caribbean or South America and then move on to the South Pacific, eventually reaching India.

I have wanderlust...man, if I had my own car, I'd store away some cash and just leave one day, come back in a week or two. A blanket, a pillow, and a credit or debit card to just drive...

So far it looks like Jupiter or Moon in 9th play a role, along with Uranus aspects. What about Uranus in 5th house, mabe that would also cause it as well?

I'm a wanderlust junkie!

my family moved me around a lot when I was younger. since then, I travel often (the only time I didn't was when transit saturn was in my 4th and I needed to be close to home a lot) and I feel almost soulless when I'm in one place for too long.

It's really tricky having wanderlust especially with Moon in Cancer and having a 2nd house Sun. I always have this desire to go to new places and restart my life, but I have trouble letting go of my belongings and I do get homesick at times. I always end up having too much stuff to carry whenever I move to a new city. In a span of 2 years, I've lived in 3 different cities now.

I have Jupiter in the 9th house in Aquarius. If I had the money right now, I'd leave the city I currently live in and move somewhere else. I also attribute my commitment issues to that lol but that's mainly the reason for my wanderlust. I got Mars trine Jupiter as well.

I think having Moon or Mars in the 9th house would most likely indicate wanderlust as well. If you have the Moon there, you'll probably feel the constant need to go to a new place. I think you'd be depressed if you were stuck in one place for a long period of time. That would be an extreme case, though. Mars in the 9th may just indicate a desire to do so, and if you are blessed with a well-placed Mars, such as Mars in fire signs, you might as well do it.

Me too!!!

I was lucky enough to travel extensively when I was young but since becoming a mom that isn't so easy (totally worth it though - my kids are amazing!) - But I get antsy and need to take short road trips. I dream of traveling the states and photographing all of it. I also day dream of settling down some place new.

I have a Cancer sun as well and have the same itch to travel everywhere but Cancer needs security. I think the goal in our life is to understand that we create our own security from within and our biggest fears are our imagined ones. Home is wherever we go because we are the creators of home and treat everyone we love like family. That's what I read .

Your chart has to show this. I would love to see your chart if you feel ok with sharing it.

we may treat everyone as family, but are not treated alike..
Yeah, I have thought about the same thing, to be at home anywhere in the world and be with your mother nature anywhere you are

or have a car or something, so that would be your moving home, but you loose imense freedom by doing that..

My NN is in the 9th, so I feel like I'm destined to travel around the world and perhaps settle somewhere once I find that special place. That and I am a Cancer Sun with my SN tightly conjuncting it in the 3rd house, so finding that home is very needed.

Having grown up a navy officers child, we've travelled some of everywhere. It's to the point where I get depressed living in a city too long(I've been moving every two years since birth). I recently moved back to the place where I was born, and already I'm looking to relocate during the summer. I think that I'm just naturally adventurous.

Gemini Sun in 9/10th house conjunct MC exact
Mercury in 9th
Venus on 8th/9th cusp
