Pisces is a mutable sign, making it about dissolving, appearing and disappearing, fluid form. Pisces is a water sign, with an emphasis on the imagination, unity with all life, spiritual longing, transcendence, mystical visions.

Full Moon in Pisces: healing, sharing intimacy with all of humanity, seeing beyond the surface of things, symbolic language and imagery, fantasy and escape, addiction, lost souls, the vast unknown, loss of Self, sacrifice or devotion, unconditional love.

This Full Moon illuminates: the depth of meaning in relationships and events; the wider mystery of why we're here; how we're merged as humans; the power of the collective heart impulse; divinely inspired creative ideas, chances to be a comfort in a dark time; vivid dreams of other realms and lives.

It's a Good Time to: feast on spiritual nourishment; start volunteering with children, animals, the elderly and vulnerable; get lost in your own imagination!; keep the schedule clear for daydreaming; take a long healing soak, or swim in the ocean; spend time past the monkey mind (in meditation or a walk in nature); go to the theatre or the cinema; see yourself as an infinite being; speak from the heart; let yourself feel deeply; be with those you love.

The Full Moon on September 19 is at 26º Pisces. It falls on Matar in the right knee of Pegasus in Pisces Decan 3. This is the zone of the impossible for here we have aeronautical fishes! We get the feeling that this Piscean water is simmering, about to boil over as it makes its way to rebirth at the equinox.

This Moon is bursting with anticipation for the future and impatient because its been cocooned for so long. Now this will especially ring true for those of you lucky folk in the southern hemisphere. You will be coming into spring while we in the North are going into Autumn. We are all going to be equalised on September 22 when the Sun enters tropical Libra’s scales. This Moon is the prelude to the re-balancing.

Matar in Pegasus is a visionary. It’s enthusiastic, ambitious and stimulates change. There is a lot to get excited about as the full moon chart itself is pretty spectacular. A Yod, a T-square and two minor grand trines making a diamond shaped aspect pattern. We have been getting these Diamonds on and off since August 9 due to the ongoing retrogrades with Uranus square Pluto sextile Saturn. These slow moving planets have been sitting ducks for the personal planets to come along and ignite them into more complex patterns. Jupiter had been inflaming a T square to Uranus square Pluto but things should calm down now a little bit hopefully, now that it has moved out of orb.

Full Moon Horoscope

I’m hoping now that Lilith replacing Jupiter and Ceres trine Pluto can magically transform the edgy vibe we have had for the last 6 weeks. The July/August trines did their best to buffer us from the intensity of the Diamonds and the Star Of David. I think many of us have been holding back and in healing mode. So for this Full Moon we get another Diamond then, the actual Moon makes no aspects at all, but it does cut through the middle of the diamond. It’s inside but completely independent from the drama of this aspect pattern. Its almost like its in another dimension, invisible, but still very much in the centre of things. A floating seahorse spy Moon. The most important part of the Diamond is the North Node, Venus, Saturn conjunction all within the Crucifix in Scorpio Decan 1, giving us a taste of the November 3 Solar Eclipse to come at 11º Scorpio. This area has been the hotspot for the whole year and is the Saturn Retrograde zone.

There is potential for a great blossoming in relationships. Diamonds are forever? Maybe we’ll get a few engagements announced at this Full Moon. Venus and Saturn can be romantic commitment and karmic contracts (Good and bad), but I like the help of the wise crone Ceres here and Pluto strengthening family bonds. Ceres trine Pluto could even be wealth from relatives, inheritance, or investing in the north node future. The only thing I’m concerned about is Uranus holding that T-Square at the bottom. It’s extremely important that that committed couple (stellium in Scorpio) stay united and work with Ceres in order to subdue the potential abuse from Lilith opposite Pluto. This could be a vindictive and jealous outsider. Uranus is pivotal, it could either blow the whole thing to kingdom come or produce a completely shocking outcome that actually works for the benefit of all.

Tough Diamond
Ceres on Zosma is going to need to be strong too and not feel victimised by the dark manipulative energy from Lilith/Pluto. Ceres is self-sacrificing enough without being in dutiful Virgo decan 2 to boot. It’s like super-nurse amplified. I think Ceres here benefits from the support of the Saturn sextile though, giving her protective armour and possibly financial assistance. This fortification can turn things round so that Zosma becomes saviour not victim. A super Nanny. Yes, new lemon fresh Zosma, tough on germs and greasy stains… This diamond Full Moon is here to polish us. Tune into it to see clearly into your soul and envision your perfect future. Don’t waste this fabulous opportunity to use the 9º Scorpio Crux Stellium, (The Cross of Maat-ter) to help crystallise your Pegasus dreams into reality. Start making intentions, put your money where your mouth is (Saturn demands this) and invest in the things you believe in.

Full Moon in Pisces – Deciding what to keep and what to discard.

With the Full Moon on the 19th September 2013 we are coming to the end of the latest Astrological cycle. This full Moon in Pisces is the final release point for this lunar year, so we are at the end of a journey and quite appropriately this is a harvest new Moon, the time when we reap what we have sown. The crops have reached their peak and unless we cut them down or pick them for our consumption then they will start to get over-ripe or begin to lose their freshness and taste. From here on in the plants begin to wither and die as the the darker part of the year approaches. As I will explain, the metaphors within this particular full Moon all sit here in the Astrology and give us a stark warning if we fail to reap our harvest.

Now if you look around the web about this full Moon in Pisces you will see all the usual stuff about this being a spiritual, compassionate full Moon and you should get out the incense sticks and play soft gentle music etc etc etc but this is only a small piece of this very influential full Moon. This full Moon works across the sacrifice (Pisces) and service (Virgo) axis of the chart and thus we are being asked to let go of the details, our analytical side, our worries and our practical problems all associated with Virgo to the more expansive and less organised Pisces side of our lives, our intuition, our spiritual beliefs, yes our compassion too and our imaginations. I say asked, well this time there is a little more pressure on us to do so as I will go on to explain.

The reason is buried a little deeper into the chart above. As mentioned before, all Full moons show a release and this is the ultimate end of a 6 month long cycle begun on the 10th April, the last time we had a New Moon in Aries. What was going on in your life then? What was forming? Did that time in your life begin a phase that is seemingly coming now to a close? Have a think back. That chart showed a conjunction of Venus and Mars in conjunction to the new Moon, so I am guessing that a lot of relationships will have started to form then. I wrote at that time “This New Moon shows now we can take action and initiative (Mars) over relationship issues as well as financial and matters of what we own (Venus). The Aries and Mars influences wants us to move now and Venus wants us to relate, to start something, a new relationship or friendship, getting new possessions, sorting out your personal finances. Of course, these decisions will be also affected exactly where in your chart the New Moon hits. Especially with regard to the more Venus related side of this New Moon, anything you start now will have a sense of permanence about it, as Venus makes a strong and close quindecile to Saturn.”

Now we end this cycle and quite amazingly the full Moon in Pisces sits at the midpoint of Venus and Mars which are now in a tense square aspect. The Full Moon also sits at the midpoint of Mars and Saturn and Mars as well as at the midpoint of Mars and the North Node. If a relationship was formed at that point, if you did make a start or a decision back on the 10th April, now with this square things may well be hitting a crucial and possibly difficult phase. Tension may be in the air, circumstances from outside the initial decision you made then may be playing on your mind and interfering in your current decision processes.

Lets look at these three midpoints. The Moon at the midpoint of Mars and Saturn is an emotional point of weakness, a place of depression, it can show separation or an ending. Here you may be losing something. The Moon at the midpoint of Mars and Venus shows a wholly different viewpoint. Here are strong emotional ties, a desire for unity and for fulfilment. This is a time of motherhood and for giving birth to new energies. The Moon at the midpoint of Mars and the North Node indicates an emotional attitude towards other people, of bringing things together.

Now I said that we have a stark choice on offer here and if you look closely at the chart this full Moon creates a very rare and unusual pattern, a Thor’s hammer or God’s fist aspect. Two sesquiquadrate aspects (135 degrees) connect from the square aspect from Venus, North Node Saturn to Mars making a focus point at the full Moon. A Thor’s hammer is a very volatile aspect as it has an inherent tension present through the square aspect sitting there. This tension can be destructive in nature unless a creative solution seen through the apex planet, the full Moon, can be found. The three solutions to any issues you have I already looked at in the previous paragraph, through enforced separation and finishing the whole process off begun in April, secondly through the birth of a new structure and by formalising what you have created in the previous 6 months or thirdly by bringing people together to try to solve the whole matter, the difficulties and tensions in front of you. I feel unless you take one of the three options on offer here, then things could get very messy and disruptive in your life. The Saturn North Node in exact conjunction at the time of this full Moon has the message of destiny and fate mixing with karma and issues or people from the past. Lessons will be learned now and decisions made now may have long lasting repercussions. Choose your actions and the people you associate with wisely.

The rest of the chart on this full Moon shows a loose cardinal cross containing a close square between Jupiter and Mercury that allows us to glimpse at the bigger picture and which does provide us with plenty of options at our disposal to move things on, our minds will be whirring with a myriad of possibilities. The danger here is to act too rashly without thinking through your options first. Mars in Leo makes a fire trine to Uranus in Aries which is excitable and energetic and can have a similar effect of being too impatient to get on with things. The quindecile from Uranus to the Sun shows a tendency to be reckless and rebellious, wanting to do things in a manner that others might not understand and appreciate.

My advice is to take your time and consider what is best for you as this full Moon approaches. Take what you can from the last 6 months using your intuition and what you feel so that you can get ready for the newer cycles that begin. It may be that you have to step back now and have a moment’s solitude to consider your choices, but that’s alright and it will do you some good to do so. If you have to sacrifice something to allow new energy to fill your life, then so be it. The important thing I think is to make a positive decision in whatever form that it may be and finish this cycle off properly. If you don’t do this and in the process you let old situations and problems fester and rot, then you will be saving up a whole heap of trouble for yourself further down the line.

This is very strange. My Venus is directly on 26 degrees Pisces. Also, I am Sun Pisces, Jupiter Pisces, Midheaven Pisces.

I am thinking my Venus being directly on the degree of this Harvest Moon in 26 degrees Pisces is somehow having a profound impact coinciding with events. Also, I am a Cancer Rising.

Last night, my girlfriend and I of 4 years had a conversation which left me feeling ultimately empty. I do not know if we will remain together. Yet, we have been the closest people in each other's lives and been there for another through many, many things.

Something is not right with us and it left me feeling sick because I could tell in her voice that she emotionally seems to have disassociated herself from me. In the past several weeks, she has not talked to me as much. She went away for two weeks on vacation but in that time, her approach to me seems drastically different. There is a wall she put up and I can tell as if she has emotionally moved on from me without even letting me know. This has left me in utter confusion.

What is most disconcerting is that I have been the most emotionally supportive figure in her life (her parents are both gone) and was there every time through the death of her mother. She is 24, I am 27. She has many friends, but they are not there through thick and thin.

This has been a very difficult time for me, if anyone has a response I would appreciate it very much.

Full moon's going to be in the 8th house for me, loosely conjuncting my natal north node. In my progressed chart it takes place in the 7th.

This venus/ saturn stuff's taking place in my fourth house and conjuncting my natal retrograde pluto. In my progressed chart it's my 3rd house.

Not really sure what to make of it, sounds like it could potentially be a bit of a **** show. I'm counting on it being nothing at all... Or well, hoping is more like it...

The moon is beautiful and fall-like. I hate getting emotional around these kinds of moons, but somehow it always seems to happen that way. Cancer Rising maybe.

I always take an hour or more to gaze at a full moon. It is among one of the most beautiful things to me.

@Brendan34: I understand where you are. I've been through something incredibly similar. Unfortunately I have nothing to offer you, I hope it works out better than my situation did. Think about, cherish, and love all of the wonderous and amazing things you shared together, rather than the less happy things. My thoughts and feelings are with you.

The full moon is soo insanely bright and big lately . and it looks abnormally close right now..It's been that way since Saturday. I've never seen it soo big. I stick my head out the window, and the way it illuminates my face. Just Wow. I hate how mobile phones can't ever capture the moon right. It always looks crappy.

It's in my first house too. I've been feeling really great actually. A bit too chatty and open lately..but autumn does that to me anyways

Wow.. that explains the big argument I had with a sept-virgo some hours ago. Well, that's all I know of his chart but it wouldn't surprise me if....

Well my Sun/Moon midpoint is at 26'59 Virgo-Pisces! (Pluto at 27,5 Virgo)

I've Always been very sensitive to full moon, as long as I can remember... (I once read that Scorp-moons often are?)

The Full Moon transiting the houses of the natal chart

Full Moon in the First House

"Hey, what about me?" is the feeling of a Full Moon in the first house. You're looking for a bit of attention right now as you feel that life has been too "other-oriented" recently. Try to avoid infantile outbursts. Instead, work on your self-assertiveness. You do count, and there are ways to assert your own needs without stepping on others' toes. Finding a balance between autonomy and dependence is what this Full Moon is about for you. Your emotions are on your sleeve right now. It is a good time to put your needs first, but doing so with respect for others will take you further. Whether you can succeed as a leader is "tested" right now.

Full Moon in the Second House

Intimacy, issues of power and control, or joint finances may have been a focus for the last two weeks. Now it's time to recognize what makes you comfortable. This Full Moon is about balancing the give and take of intimacy--the giving and receiving of pleasure. Sharing issues come into focus, as do issues of power--what's yours and what's mine. Your comfort zones matter, and now is the time to take care of your own needs without eclipsing the needs of others.

Full Moon in the Third House

The last two weeks have found you somewhat restless and in need of more from life than the mundane. Now the mundane is catching up with you. Errands need to be run, people are talking your ear off, you need to do some paperwork and answer calls. An important document could arrive, or a sudden need to run an important errand or to take a short trip could be part of the picture. You are pushed to find a balance now. Do what needs to be done so that you can free yourself up for more adventurous and fulfilling activities.

Full Moon in the Fourth House

The last two weeks have found you working hard towards your career goals and other public matters. The demands of your personal life are now paramount. Striking a balance between energy spent on work and energy spent on domestic matters is essential now. Balanced attention to your public and personal lives is what you need to focus on. It's time to prioritize. Otherwise, you run the risk of over-extending yourself. A home, family, or property matter could grab your complete attention at this time.

Full Moon in the Fifth House

You want to have fun, and the demands of your larger goals in life may have been eclipsing your pleasure-seeking activities. It can be hard to find time for everything you want to do, but without creative self-expression (be it romantic or playful), you simply won't feel complete. It's time to do something self-expressive, fun, and creative. You may be required to complete a creative project at this time. You could feel an overwhelming need to pour your heart out to a lover, or a romantic affair reaches some sort of epiphany. There could be a whirlwind of activity surrounding your child or children.

Full Moon in the Sixth House

You look in the mirror and say, "That's it! I'm starting that exercise program". You crush out a cigarette with disgust and decide to quit smoking. You throw up your arms and say that you can't take how your boss has been treating you. These are just some examples of a Full Moon transiting your sixth house. If it activates other personal planets, or if it's an eclipse, the more intense or dramatic your proclamations will be. Of course, you don't necessarily need to burst forth with emotional declarations, especially if you plan in advance. Avoid blaming others for your own state of discontent if that's how you are feeling right now. You can use this surge of emotional energy to make positive changes to your routines. Do something to improve your work conditions if they are annoying you--even if it's a small act of kindness with a co-worker or bringing in something to brighten up your desk or office. Get going on your exercise or nutrition program that you've been toying with in your mind. This may also be a time when a work project comes to fruition or completion.

Full Moon in the Seventh House

The New Moon was all about you. Now it's time to strike a balance with an "other". The seventh house represents an important one-to-one relationship--a marriage partner, significant other, business partner, or an adversary. It's time to strike a balance between your own needs and those of another. It's time to compromise and negotiate. Partnership "tests" are possible now, but so is a chance to truly connect to a special someone in your life.

Full Moon in the Eighth House

This Full Moon is all about give and take. What makes you feel comfortable and secure needs to be balanced with attention to other people's needs and comfort levels. It's a good time to settle some of your debts, financial or otherwise. You may be in a position wherein you are forced to make a financial settlement or large outlay of cash; or, you may find that you are leaned upon for support, financial or otherwise.

Full Moon in the Ninth House

Your attention to the logical world of reason has been a focus in the last two weeks. Now you feel a crisis of lack. Your personal beliefs may be tested now. Your impulses and faith matter, and all of the attention you've been giving to mundane affairs has you wondering when you're going to have some fun. You want to take a leap of faith now. Your adventurous side pushes up and out, demanding attention.

Full Moon in the Tenth House

You are suddenly in the limelight--everyone notices you now. It's time to put your best foot forward, but be sure to do so with grace and consideration for others, or you may just make a display that you regret later. Perhaps you've been hiding yourself away, taking it easy. Now you need a little attention, and career matters come to a head. You're called to perform, perhaps on a moment's notice, and it's best to keep your cool and do whatever you can to show your competence. A sudden job opportunity, or some form of assistance with regards to career, home, or property matters, could be part of the picture. This can also produce an event that requires you to take charge and show your responsible side.

Full Moon in the Eleventh House

You've been focusing on what brings you pleasure—your hobbies, romantic activities, and so forth. Now you realize that the role you play in others' lives (as a spouse, parent, friend) is an important element in your overall happiness. You're looking for validation from friends and group activities now. You may be called upon to perform a humanitarian gesture. For example, a friend may experience a little crisis and asks for your help. You may suddenly find yourself around many people, perhaps after a period of relative solitude or private time.

Full Moon in the Twelfth House

Circumstances are such that you have an overwhelming need to be alone. You've been busy with all sorts of everyday activities, deeply involved in your work and routines. It's time to balance your life with some down time—otherwise, you simply don't feel whole. Issues come to light that originate from deep within. It's an excellent time to get in touch with what's been brewing beneath the surface. A secret or private matter may be revealed, a health matter could come to light, or a work project can reach culmination.

The full moon at 6:12 this am, I got up and preformed a bit of a candle ritual to, with my allergy, tired eyes barely open, then went back to sleep with the candle burning.

The moon was 6 deg from my Pisces sun, but it sextiled my Taurus moon exactly, within 2 deg trined my Scorp asc. I felt an overwhelming sense of peace last night, as I have had one crazy week, got a great review on my house that was showed yesterday (most reviews been very negative), still feel very, very peaceful and calm.

What a lovely feeling after so much stress and a few terrible events in my life recently.
