if you have a void in a specific element in your chart, is it possible that you overcome this void? for ex, if you have a fire void, you could take martial arts to get in touch with your passion if you have a water void, traveling to the ocean lets you become more familiar with your feelings, etc are there any other treatments like those that i listed above for each kind of void? I wondered the same thing. I'm low in water (only Pluto in Scorpio) and avoid the ocean. IP: Logged |

when you lack an element, you look at the houses that rules that element for example if you lack of fire, look at houses 1,5, and 9 planets here compensate for your void.------------------

Hmmm....so I have: sun, Venus, mercury, Saturn, Ceres, Uranus in Air houses. Is that air enough?

I don't think you can overcome, per se. I think you can soothe it. I am an earth void and a garden centers me but I am still the earth void with all that entails. That is my opinion, anyway. ------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. It is Free, of course. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Interesting I have an AIR void. I'm Libra ASC and that is ittt. I got NADA!!! However, I do have three planets (Mars, Uranus, Neptune) in the 3rd House of Gemini. And my Aries-Sun sits in the 7th House of Libra. So in actuality...I do have some strong AIR qualities?? I'm still trying to figure this all out. LOL IP: Logged |

@peachbeigeblue: hmm, that's interesting. if you don't mind me asking, do you avoid the ocean because you don't feel comfortable around it?@lalalinda: but wouldn't the planets just cover what those houses rule is and still be expressed in whatever element/mode they are in? because i have an earth void & both mars and venus in the 6th yet i am not very practical @AmiAnne: i have an earth void as well i have tried gardening, but i find my mind wandering in the middle of it... http://mysticmedusa.com/2010/04/d-i-y-astro-elemental-imbalances/ "So, for instance, are you a bit low in Water? It sounds cheesy but you can bring Water into your life via swimming, bathing and wearing blue hues. Low in Fire – i always think martial arts and wearing red works amazingly well. But you also think a la aping the most haute Aries, Leo or Saggos that you know. Bring positive Fire energy into your life. Low in Earth – massage and gardening are you. Walking barefoot on grass & consciously striving to be more grounded. Low in Air – be more breezy and cultivate an objective mindsetˇ¦something that comes v.easy to blessed in Air but which can be hard if you have no or few planets in Air." interesting concept IP: Logged |

I have zero planets in Air signs and know I struggle internally with logic (even if I can talk/sound highly logical).I work at cultivating objectivity though it remains very difficult when I have such strong intuitions/ emotions. IP: Logged |

My lack of Air also means I get too caught up in my own world at times, and know it is better when I get out of my shell. Many times, I do not feel like talking or verbalizing everything.IP: Logged |

Hey, so am I, and my third house is pretty active, too. Maybe it does make up for it a bit? Actually, the other two air voids I know also have some emphasis on their third house. I'm seeing a theme here! And a good friend has a fire void but a stellium in his first house and his moon in the 5th. He definitely doesn't lack passion! But I guess you end up trying hard to compensate with a void? I know I do. IP: Logged |

Social GI hear you about the mind wandering. Do you feel like it races and is not centered in what it is doing? I have that, too. The garden is earth, so touching it for a long period like several hours really does effect my energy body. It is very calming. A friend was telling me that I could do hydroponic and I don't think I want to because touching the earth is part of it. ------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. so do i, but i think that the elemental balance that we all strive for still isn't created-- i tend to overcompensate or say "to hell with this" IP: Logged |

@Ami Anne: yes, my mind can't just stay still- it either has to branch out or dig deep. i'll daydream a lot as well: often, when i'm thinking about what's happening right now, some related memory will just unfold and i'll 'zone out.' although, i'm curious-- about hydroponics (which i just looked up right now), if gardening makes you calm, then wouldn't hydroponics give the same kind of stability to you?
