What if the planets are in conjunction with the depositor of the sign?Would it magnify the planets or will they function more.. uh, 'purely' in that sign? IP: Logged |

for example if someone had sun in aries and it's in conjunction with mars would that persons sun be more enhanced of would it the aries traits just be more prominent?I was observing someone with mars in cancer but it's in conjunction with it's dispositer the moon and I noticed the courage and direct/bold nature not associated with mars in cancer but obviously still retaining cancerian traits but it seems more "enhanced" or positive, besides the conjunction that mars has no positive aspects. Or maybe that could because moon/mars conjunction would give those traits. IP: Logged |

Good question, but I;m not sure. I have Jupiter conjunct Venus in Pisces, and I've noticed that people seem to expect me to be cheerful all of the time. Of course I like to feel good about myself, outlook on life, etc. but when people try to snap me out of a moodiness (that for all I know could actually be beneficial to me--get through the "bad" to get to the "good") that I'm in, it can annoy me. lolSo, to answer your question, it may amplify the energy, etc.. hmm I found something quote: As explained, the depositorship determines whether a benefic planet can actually fulfill its potential and therefore by having a benefic planet sitting in a moolatrikona sign that is not weak, there can only be good results. For example, if the planet Jupiter sits in the fifth house in the sign of Libra, and the depositor Venus is exalted in the sign Pisces, then Jupiter will live up to its full potential.
wow I just realized the it's called a dispositor thats why I couldn't find anything on google. IP: Logged |

Okay, but you asked about a conjunction. That example wouldn't be a conjunction. IP: Logged |

but the fact that dipositors are said to have that power kinda supports my original thought.IP: Logged |

Why wouldn't it? If an exalted dipositor is beneficial to that planet I'm sure a domicile dipositor in conjunction with the planet will have a strong influence. Ime it would function even better than an exalted planets. I always felt planets in domicile are more stable thus stronger. IP: Logged |

Not to derail the thread into another subject, but I've felt from the get-go that exalted planets are "stronger." I don't equate stability with strength, but that's me. I feel it depends (in part) on whether a planet or luminary in its exalted sign aspects the planet that rules the sign of exaltation. IP: Logged |

It depends what your opinion on strong is but exalted and can be extreme compared to domicile planets. IP: Logged |

^ I agree with that. I’ve got exalted Venus in Pisces and I feel like I give too much in relationships. I can’t find the right balance between give and take, it’s either give, give, give or take, take, take whereas Venus in Libras can easily find the right balance.

Yeah my bff has venus in pisces, she started crying one day and was like NO ONE EVER SENDS ME LITTLE NOTES OR LETTERS.. I want to feel loved.. I do so much for others etc. Im like damn girl... aren't you an aqua sun??? She constantly needs reassuring. But she really is a caring person. A venus in taurus or libra could balance that. Venusians love others and most importantly themselves. IP: Logged |

Depends on her rising sign and house placements. IP: Logged |
