Are Saturn Returns worse for those who have a retrograde Saturn in their natal chart versus a Saturn that is direct? My Scorpio Saturn is retrograde, so I'm curious.IP: Logged |

I'm going to bump this, because I'm also curious to read what people might have to say about Saturn retrograde in general.Mine is retrograde, and I had an absolutely miserable return...but I got to seriously be "reborn" in a very personal sense (not the religious sense, although definitely with some spiritual release), and rebuild my life in a way that was far more healthy and productive. I'm not entirely sure of what Saturn retrograde is supposed to represent, except karmically speaking. No idea if retro Saturn makes a return more difficult. I know that the transits feel much heavier to me when the transiting planet is retrograde, but that's about it. Good luck with your return, I hope it goes smoothly for you.

My Saturn is at 0 Leo retrograde. It's as if it's saying, "Nooooo don't want to be a Leo, don't make me go there!" Saturn is in mutual reception with my Cap sun and possibly conjunct my Leo ASC. So in the context of my chart, the retrograde runs parallel to my discomfort with having these bright sun and Leo contacts merged (tainted? dimmed?) with Saturn. Maybe it corresponds to how I balk at things in general instead of charging ahead to structure them. The fact that Saturn is turning its back on Leo and facing Cancer is like me when I refuse to live up to the Leo Saturn task of structuring a sound ego, but instead revert to emotionalism and trying in vain to structure my world according to sheer emotional preferences. My Saturn return was hard, I lost my father and endured some low times, but did gain character, perspective and so on. I don't know how it compares to the Saturn returns of others.
