Topic: The Moon and the mother's...job/personality?

Have you seen this link in your own charts, or those of others? My moon is in the 6th house in Cancer and it trines Saturn in the 9th. My mother went to school and became a dentist in her native country, however in the US (9th house - foreign) she works in the health field (6th house) taking care of the elderly (Moon trine Saturn). It makes a trine to Jupiter rx in 1st house - she is way too generous to the point where she lacks (I guess the rx aspect of the matter).It squares Venus in 8th - she really doesn't get along with women too much. It squares Pluto also in 8th, but she isn't angry or anything, so not sure what that one may mean. Maybe debt from the government? Student loans that she could not pay off as she couldn't finish the dentistry here in the US. For my kids..both of their Moons are in the 2nd house. My daughter's is an Aquarius (my ascendant)Moon conjunct Neptune + trines Venus + Mars in Libra 10th house. I'm always with them (a bit possessive maybe?), but I do have a savings account for both and they aren't allow to touch it until after they turn 21. I also have my own business doing intuitive readings (Neptune/Venus aspects in her chart). My son's is in Libra(his dad's ascendant) it conjuncts POF and it trines Venus in Leo (12th house of spirituality in regards to my job) + Neptune in 6th house of work/job. So both have almost identical moon aspects + houses just different signs. Anybody else sees some similarities?? Sorry for my long post, heh. Just thought I should share.. I've noticed mothers often take on the negative traits of the Moon sign which in turn leads you to become drawn to the positive traits of your Moon sign, especially in people romantically interested in women.IP: Logged |

Ohhh. My moon is in leo 6th house, square venus/pluto.. trine sag mc (shes a sag sun too.. cool) she's a cosmetologist. She says she would've liked to have been a cop though.She also worked as a home attendant back in her native country. And she worked at a daycare for about 4 years here in the US. IP: Logged |

My moon is in Scorpio in the 8th house trine my ASC and Sextile Saturn. Mom is a Registered Nurse. She has been for about twenty-one years now, but, she's been doing nursing for even longer than that. When she was in med school she would study her behind off and did whatever she had to do to succeed. She strongly believes in doing the right thing and she's quite infamous for being "anal". Despite that, mom can be quite controlling of her children, me especially. She tries to control me with guilt trips, physical violence, verbal abuse and mind games. How Scorpio-like of her. D: Even so, mom is pretty accepting of me, After she's done criticizing me for this thing, and that thing she doesn't like about me, she "checks" herself and reminds me that I am loved unconditionally and that she appreciates that role I play in her life. Mom has Sun/Moon/Mercury in Aries, Mars in Pisces opposite Pluto in Virgo (Control issues?) Venus in Taurus and Cancer rising.IP: Logged |

Yeah i have moon aqua in 12th and my mom took care of her sick mother until she died. She also helped out abused women, elderly people, and my brothers friends who did drugs. I always felt she focused on people outside the family more than her own kids. She is sun aqua. My moon trines my venus in gemini in the third. She works for a MLM company and is really good at it. My moon is in Aqua in 7th house,my mother got married twice-Funny.
She's a chef.

Is the house where your moon is hard or a struggle for any of you? I find that I have many health issues and also always worry and it affects my health. I have Moon in 6th..it does squares pluto and venus though  IP: Logged |

^ wow we have the same placement and aspect with moon, is your moon in Leo by any chance?I don't have any health issues.. but i am hypochondriac

My moon is in the 11th house in Taurus at the 29th degree. Close to gemini. My mom is a gemini and so am I. She works in finance and always has since before my sister and I were born. My mercury in gemini and venus in Taurus are also in my 11th house.Moon conjunct venus
