I have these aspects with someone: My vertex 8th house gemini trines his south node, squares his ascendant, sextiles north node, conjunct his pallas His vertex 7th house virgo squares my moon + lilith and trines my mars, conjunct my vestaDoes vertex have influence on synastry if it's not conjunct? And if so, what would these aspecrs mean ?

I have read that it is only valid if it is a very tight conjunction - within 1 orb.I have had this with someone (with many more "soulmate" aspects) and it was the most intense experience of my life thus far. His Venus was conjunct my Vertex (and also my DC... DC is at 7 Aries, Vertex was 3 Aries... his Venus was at 4 Aries... but I also have a Sun/Mars conjunction at 4/5 Aqua... so you tell me exactly where all the chemistry comes from Vertex or elsewhere??)... A friend who desperately wanted to be more, one of my planets exactly conjuncted his Vertex and I couldn't really find anything else to explain his feelings. I wasn't into him at all. I haven't really felt it or found the vertex relevant otherwise. IP: Logged |

Vertex in synastry is only important if it is a conjunction, opposition or square and especially a tight one!IP: Logged |

I had a reading by an Astrologer not too long ago and she was taken aback when she saw that my North Node was on her Vertex. LOL IP: Logged |

Whoa. What is this Vertex? I looked at it in my synastry chart with my SO and my Vertex conjunct his moon exact. And it's only important if it's a tight & hard aspect?

That sounds really good, yeah its like the Nodes only the hard and tight aspects count. IP: Logged |

I guess that Vertex aspects in synastry can show signs that the Vertex person's life is somehow changed and affected in a meaningful way by the planet/element person, but it might not be necessarily romantic. I know two friends that has a very special friendship with each other, and they have tight Sun cj vertex and Sun opp Vertex, plus a few other aspects, but they didn't seem to be romantically interested in each other, just very special friendship.IP: Logged |

What exactly does it do??? I really don't understand Vertex's purpose. My bf Vertex opposite my Moon My bf Vertex opposite my Jupiter My bf Vertex conjunct my Chiron My bf Vertex conjunct my MC My Vertex doesn't do any hard aspects, but it sextiles his Venus, which I think does do some influence...maybe. Does anyone know what it means? I read before that Vertex/Anti-Vertex conjunction to Moon is one of the 5 Soul-Mate signs.
