Jade, hematite, and blue lace agate.

I'm not sure why that is...Pisces Sun, Virgo Moon, Leo AC.

I'm drawn to them in the sense that when I pick them up in my hands, they feel good. I have a reasonable collection of raw crystals and stones, and polished ones as well, but I do prefer the energies of those three.

The hematite helps me feel immediately grounded and protected. Jade and blue lace agate help me to feel more tranquil. I'm not sure which signs (if any) those stones are associated with, but they always "feel good" when I pick them up.

I think that my natal Pluto, which has numerous aspects, is drawn to the hematite. I think that the jade and blue lace agate help to calm the irritability and tension of my sun/moon opposition, perhaps? I'm just kind of throwing out guesses here.

Once, when visiting the cavernous used book/metaphysical store; a hand size crystal called to me. I have never experienced this; oh, perhaps that time I reached down into the earth and pulled the demitasse cup sized one Native Grounds, but this was different. It was like this one was keyed to me. I asked the hippie dude to pass it to me, and he said it fits RIGHT in your hand. Indeed it did...

Perhaps it is the Exalted Moon?

This is what I love. Lapis Lazuli's the name. Maybe Libra ascendant or Taurus moon? I see flecks of Venus in Leo, too.

I love lapis lazuli!!! Not only is it the most vibrant and beautiful shade of blue(like a bluejay), but it also has amazing healing properties. I have recently experienced first hand how powerful this stone can be. I have collected rocks and minerals since I was a kid, but never used them for healing purposes. I started doing yoga earlier this year since I've been going through a spiritual awakening, and was trying to find a way to channel some of the energies I was feeling. I have always been very intuitive, but I would just get these flashes of insight, it wasn't something I controlled at will. A couple of months ago I had these psychic experiences twice within a few days. After this happened, I got an excruciating headache and neck pain that lasted for four days. I was taking pain medication that did absolutely nothing, and by the fourth night I was at my wits end. The next morning I looked up some information on chakras, since the pain was right on the third eye chakra and my neck, and I almost felt like I had a knot in my throat. I found information about the negative effects of kundalini awakening that can occur when doing yoga and mediation, especially when not being properly grounded. I read about using lapis lazuli to balance energy, specifically in the 5th and 6th chakras. I have a beautiful lapis pendant that I put on, and I swear that within 30 minutes the pain was gone! I don't know if it was just the placebo effect, but the use of lapis for headaches dates back thousands of years to ancient Egypt. All I know is that it worked. Since then, if I have a headache I just put on the pendant rather than taking a pain reliever and the pain goes away. It's amazing!

I also love abalone, and my favorite piece of jewelry is an abalone bracelet. I love anything that comes from the water, must be all the Scorpio and 8th house placements in my chart. Spiny coral, pearls, and capiz shells are also favorites. I also love carnelian since burnt orange is one of my favorite colors.
