EDIT! I'll elaborate. The farther you deviate from the equator, the more skewed the ascendant's calculation becomes. The houses change sizes, the rate it moves changes...the same happens to a lesser degree the further away from the prime meridian you are, I think.

I read that somewhere but really, not that hard to infer if u think about it.
