Topic: Feeling destroyed by Saturn square venus transit

I cannot deal with it well, i'm seeing the reality of people's intentions, that people are only being overly sincere with me instead of actually meaning it. Seeing superficialness in people. Finding out that other people would rather date my friend than me. Feeling below everybody else. Unable to enjoy myself. Everything is serious. Feeling rejected. Feeling ugly. As a person with alot of neptune in the chart realism is something that is hard for me, every delusion about my attractiveness is being wiped away and it hurts, my self worth is totally down in the dumps. I feel like the universe is truly screwing me over.I doubt it gets any better, only another month of this transit. I need this to be over, i cannot deal with reality, i'd rather have delusions than realism, atleast i would be happy and be able to do what i want. IP: Logged |

I am still really trying to understand how all of this works...I've been wondering whats going on with me and someone pointed out saturn transit my asc in scorp...so I researched and THAT is exactly what I've been going through. So,that part makes sense and its a relief but..my venus is in my ascendant (and I don't understand that when my venus is in cancer) so I don't know how that really affects me. But my husband and I have been having issues for about the last year (about when saturn started transit into my asc in scorp) and we've become increasingly more detached. But now you say saturn is square venus (which in my first house) but things have been MUCH better for me the last couple days...but honestly, even with the issues this past year, I have never felt more alive, more attractive...more myself...and that's pretty confusing too. And my venus is trine my asc in my natal chart....what does that mean? And does this mean anything or is it just coincidence: my saturn is in virgo in my asc in scorp(my husbands sun sign is virgo), my venus is in cancer in my asc in scorp (the guy I was recently seeing and made a very serious connection with is sun sign cancer). And my venus is trine my asc. I'm sorry you are feeling so bad...but I have been trying to get a grasp on how this works...because it is having a profound affect on me as well and you seem to be well versed in this area. You know what...I've confused myself even more because I had mine and my sons charts confused. Ha! Ok...for real this time...scorp asc, Uranus and moon in ascendant. Uranus scorpio, moon Sagittarius. But, the part about my venus being in cancer and the fling with a cancer sun sign, and my saturn being in virgo and my husband being virgo sun sign is true. And my venus being trine my asc is true. Also, moon is trine midhaven in sun sign leo, uranus is square sun, and uranus square mercury, Does any of this mean anything? Now...this is seriously confusing!. IP: Logged |

Hey NeptunianSag, it will be okay! The reason I say this is because I went through this same transit over the summer-it sucked on so many levels. I can totally relate to everything you are saying; As someone with a natal 1st house Saturn and currently in the middle of a 2-year Pluto conjunct Saturn transit, saturn hasn't actually been my best friend. However, what this transit will show you who your true friends are, how ugly the superficial can be, and why it is so important to value the self. Facing reality is tough-but our thoughts are what create our reality, so part of this transit is teaching you to reconstruct your reality. People acting fake, ignoring you for your friends-forget them! Its their loss, as you don't deserve to settle for subpar friends and relationships. Take this time to focus on you-do hobbies you love, put yourself in new situations to meet people, etc. But don't forget the most important thing-you are not ugly! If you really are Neptunian then you have an ethereal, glamorous beauty. Feel better soon! IP: Logged |

Saturn is conjunct my Scorpio Venus, and its getting closer to exact.
I was hoping this transit would bring me a serious relationship,
or maybe stabilize my finances. Instead, I found a grey hair.

I thought there are some really valuable insights in these posts, so I decided to bump and revive it over some of the others. (Please link if you have other Saturn-square-Venus transit faves!)On Friday I have transiting Saturn square Venus and Venus square Saturn EXACT double-whammy (wow… what a ****ing day!) and some extra joy like Mercury square Mercury transit 🙈 and then some nice transits for just a club sandwich of energy. One thing that I have enjoyed so far is that the friends who have reached out to me during this time are true, true, deep soul friends. My brothers and sisters whom I know will be with me into old age. Deep, real, and lasting friendships. Another thing I found so hilarious is that I began attracting someone who had an exact Saturn-Venus aspect, whose Saturn conjunct my Venus exactly… LOL the universe! And in perfect mirroring and quick Saturnine lesson, that relationship ended as swiftly as it began. Astro summarized it neatly as, “You may discover that a love affair wasn't what you thought it was, a rude awakening after a period of lovely illusions. Or you may suddenly lose interest in a relationship that had seemed perfectly viable up until now. Every relationship must be an honest expression of yourself. I don’t know how to prepare for this coming day — maybe I’ll stay in and just seek cover from the energy or go on a quiet hike. I also wrote my Dad and BEGGED him not to drive or do anything risky but just stay inside for a few days. IP: Logged |

Sorry to hear that. Double whammy transits are always felt and it looks like you are in for some severing of relationships. Look at which houses in your chart these Saturn and Venus natal and transits are happening. That will give you an idea of what will be severed. IP: Logged |

The title of this post and the OP's experience are why the only astrological readings I do now are gemstone/crystal readings. When a planet is hit hard by a Saturn transit there are two basic strategies for neutralizing the bad experience:
(a) Boost the natal planet with a gem that holds its vibration. For Venus, that is Diamond, White/clear Danburite, White Sapphire, White Topaz, or Rose Quartz.
(b) Ameliorate the heaviness/frustration of Saturn by using a Saturn gem: Amethyst, Blue Spinel, or Blue Sapphire. I got dumped during round one of this transit in 2015. It was hard we had a deep passionate connection. Round two I got in a relationship with an emotional abuser. But it was the "stability" I ever experienced in a relationship. I am soon going to experience Saturn conjunct Venus transit. yay...I think. Except when it squares my rising. IP: Logged |

I'm going through this transit now and am wearing roughly a dozen Amethyst chips in the pouch that hangs from my neck. The transit is applying nearly 1° from exact and I feel none of the misery that has been associated with it here.Planetary influence are just consciousness-energy cycles and can be amended, even negated, if you change things at that level. If your astrological thinking includes a belief that some kind of suffering is periodically necessary, then that will continue for you. ------------------

i had this a few years back, hard to tell what was from just that though, because i had jupiter and pluto also squaring it at the same timealso they were all conjunct my ic and squaring my ascendant/descendant axis and squaring my moon and both my nodes (i have venus and ketu on my ascendant and rahu and moon on my descendant) at the time + went over that all 3 times with the retrograde and going forward and were loosely conjunct my mars at the time ended an almost 15 year relationship during it, some other traumatic stuff but 🤷♀️ was a really good thing that relationship ended and my life wasn't worse off for it in the end you just have to let it run its course and not make any decisions on how it was until the dust settles IP: Logged |

This transit is an excellent time to take a good look at your values, priorities, and self-worth. If it has weaknesses or holes in it they'll be exposed. Values and priorities are generated by self-worth/self-image, so that is what really matters. This transit can signal a moment in which an indulgence may need to be cut out of your life or a material possession given up. Obviously, it can mean stress in a relationship that has issues, but personal balance and personal honesty allow us to deal with those things better. ------------------
