Hi

I'm confused.

Say A's Sun is conjunct B's Venus, but B's Sun is only semisextile A's Venus...who feels what? Is it only A that would have the warm feelings to B, or is it mutual as long as there is a hard aspect somewhere?

There are much more experienced people here but I've been researching synastry a LOT!

Based on things that I've read...

Venus would admire (if not adore) the Sun person. The Sun person would feel loved in the presence of the Venus person, but not necessarily returning the same feelings. Just feeling loved. Certainly, they would probably like to be around Venus for that reason not taking into account other synastry factors.

In my experience as the Venus person, I did find the Sun charming and sweet, but I didn't feel love towards him, though he was attracted to me.

I think the Sun would appreciate the Venus person's style, aesthetics, charm, grace and all the other Venusian things, because it would resonate to who they are, their identity.

Hope this helped

the conjunction is more meaningful than the semisextile and the orb is important too. something too far won't be as potent as something close. both people feel things in synastry - it's usually a two-way street with every aspect, but how they feel can be different. in the sun conj. venus aspect the venus person would admire the sun (their outward persona and how they just 'are') and the sun person would feel warmly towards venus and want them around so they can really shine; the sun feels venus' admiration. I've been sun in a sun c. venus and it wasn't as great as people say, although we both did admire one another a lot. a lot depends on the other synastry factors

Well, in my case, it's my sun conjunct the other persons venus. I think the attraction is one sided (just me) unless the other person is playing it cool.

Venus is conjunct ascendant in the other chart so whether sun feels a more powerful draw because of that I don't know.

Say A's Sun is conjunct B's Venus, but B's Sun is only semisextile A's

At first look ...the conjunct should have the effect more than the semi-sextile which is the minor aspect . The conjunction is like 2 become 1 , the effect should manifest immedietly except that these are in the hidden house (12th) which are not feel it right away but need the time to express the whole story..in subconscious way. Or else these were inhibit by saturn .

When venus conjunct sun , thinking about the sun shining its light on venus , the sun energize the present of her(venus) , she feel warm and bright under the sun and she feel she's in a spotlight , always shine.

The sun , vice versa , feel the love and caring that the venus give , might add a bit charming to the sun' identity .

I think this both a mutual reception aspect and it doesn't matter you are the sun or venus. I have thus before with colleque, ex- , friends . It's a pleasant aspect that you'll feel the others is understand you , the way you present to this world without any explanation they just simply adore you . Fir me it's not a love aspect but it's the best of friendship aspect that could lead to anything good in the future.
I think if you have this with someone , it's a best way start any relationship under the pleasant and understanding eachother.

Just m2c,
HTH
