Since Scorpio is a fixed sign and Cancer is a Cardinal sign, how would this play out since they're both water signs? Would the Scorpio Venus be more attached and willing to stay and work things out since it's a fixed sign vs. Venus in Cancer who is a Cardinal sign and likes movement?IP: Logged |

I don't think cancers like movement that much. They are a cardinal sign but they are the exact opposite of an aries who also is a cardinal sign, for instance. IP: Logged |

Scorpio Venus likes things to crash, collide, and become destroyed and rebuilt. Cancer Venus likes things to stay together despite any cracks and flaws. They'll both be willing to work things out, they just go about it in different ways. IP: Logged |

I had this with my ex, a Venus-Venus trine. He's the only one I lived together with once(at 18-21). Me Cancer, him scorp. He was 8 years older than me. I was pretty surprised that he fought as hell to keep me since our relationship was in fact one big drama. I wasn't ready to commit and I also thought that relationships could be much much better than what we had. Being older now I see myself doing the same thing as he once did. Fighting to keep things 'alive'.... till the-end, until there's nothing to fight anymore.. being in his shoes. Maybe it's my Scorp-moon coming out more with aging. IP: Logged |

I agree with all these responses. My Venus in Scorpio is a little more die hard when it comes to relationships or at least it appears that way. The Cancer Venus guys I've been with tend to go with flow or retreat into their shells when they feel threatened or rejected regardless of how strong their feelings are towards me.IP: Logged |

Although my Sun is in Sagittarius I have Venus in Scorpio and in relationships, I can get intense. My exes, both Taurians had Venus in Gemini and Venus in Cancer respectively. With them, they failed to tap into that energy and so I was very chilled. But, interestingly enough, the other two exes; one a Leo with Venus in Cancer whilst the other was a Gemini with Venus in Aries, went straight for the jagular. With both, especially the Venus in Aries, I was like a dog with a tight leash: I would get so worked up at him putting any foot wrong. We barely understood each other but also could not get enough of each other. With the Venus is Cancer, it was a lot of emotional drama. And I think I did mention this on another post here, but if it wasn't for the emotional games and manipulatoon that happened, we would have stayed together. I like the water Venus energy, but the Sun sign has to be the right balance too. IP: Logged |
