An article about (not) matching Sunsigns and when minor synastry aspects make the difference. When Sun signs are not matching, there is often no ground for 'living as one'. The lifestyles are not compatible and it takes special effort to join lives. But there are exceptions, of course (there always are . Such as, when the Suns of the partners make minor aspects, hard or soft ones, with each other. Minor aspects between Suns in a relationship tell us that there is a link between the two natures. Minor aspects are for example: semi square (45 degrees), septile (51.4 degrees), sesqui semi square (67.5 degrees), quintile (72 degrees), sesquisquare (135 degrees), biquintile (144 degrees), inconjunction (150 degrees) and quindecile (165 degrees). Other minor aspects have 36, 75, 105, 108 or 157.5 degrees. These minor aspects aren't always easy and pleasant, but they do create a link between two ego's.
The whole article; http://astromarkt.net/not-matching-sunsings-in-astrology.html So, have you found this to be true?

mir! i always enjoy your posts!to me sun signs are not so important anyway for love- sun shows the way in which the individual grows in consciousness not how they love or communicate though ofcourse it modifies. take capricorn which grows through restriction forcing them to abandon negative patturns and past karma v say sagitarius which grows from broadening their horizens through a large variety of different life experiences, well that tells you very little aobut how they love and depending on which point in their life they meet each other it could end up a good match especially if the capricorn has some fiery moon (emotions) or maybe a stimulating job that can fascinate the sagitarius and broaden their horizons. plus what aspects the sun in someones own chart? i may be capricorn but its conjunct neptune and to say i dont have a strong sense of self would be an understatement- i attract leos alot who ofcourse are obsessed with self definition because they can make me what they want and are fascinated by someone that seems elusive. i think too often people concentrate on synastry instead of looking at the individual charts in question. I wonder why it doesn't mention semi-sextile? Is that a "major" degree?I know of a lot of great semi-sextile relationships, and I get along really well with people whose suns are semi-sextile mine. As for the other minor aspects I will have to think a while, do the math in my head and see if I can figure out people whose suns land a certain number of degrees from my own. IP: Logged |
