And I forgot that I *love* pistachio ice cream. Now I'm craving pistachio ice cream.

I LOVE P.B.P.'s since childhood. Dairy Queen left my area for a while but a brand new one is being built as I type this. First thing I'm gonna do when they open is order me up a Peanut Buster Parfait! Miss that!

Same here! Childhood memories of going to DQ, and the sundays in baseball team cups.

My first full-time job when I got out of high school and got my own place was at Dairy Queen, ha. I used to make myself Oreo blizzards with a small amount of hot fudge and bananas. It was like working in Candyland.

Jeez, Zander! Yes, it's a wonder that you're not hefty, haha. Peanut butter will also put weight on a person with a quickness! Your Virgo placements must be at work there...

<Edit>
I wish the quotes would work properly. Also, not saying that being bigger is a bad thing.

OMG! McDonald's McMcMcFlurry ftw!

That ice cream is sooo nice!

Yum Smarties, yum Lion bar, yum Dairy Milk!

(Doesn't any think; after looking a the "Mc" in "McDonalds", it could mean "MidHeaven"?

It could mean people who work there, have to work there forever!)

Diplo was it you who posted that squid ink Icecream in your other ice cream thread?

Yup, it's just novelty. They use it for the bluish grey pigment . I haven't tasted it, though I tried their **** ice cream on a toilet bowl container lol. Wasn't very nicely made...

Blue bunny looks absolutely great! Would love to try their Neapolitan and birthday party!

Bananas in ice cream are nice! They add texture and aren't slimey

It was vanilla/choco split. Their soft serve contained ice chippy bits and lacked cream. It was pretty bad. Taiwanese aren't big on soft serves haha

Even japanese seem to like light creams. I prefer the full dairy ala DQ style

You guys are a lot cooler up there, aren't you? Amazing what a few miles does, lol. It's mostly humid and subtropical to your south with very hot, sunny summers that last longer than further north.

LOL Then you don't live where I thought you did, but sounds like it's near anyway.
It's 79 right now.

@ SSS and Zander--
Gahhh!

Meanwhile, close to where I live...
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151614992901875&set=a .340992856874.157089.317119086874&type=1&theater

Our summer got hijacked by my husband's job, so I'm feeling a little bit crabby about the weather. But it's cozy to start up the wood burning stove again and have a nice fire going in the living room.

It's definitely not ice cream weather here, lol. But this thread prompted me to go buy some anyway. I like Haagen Daz strawberry if I have to choose between that and something too sweet or sugary.

I wish it were 70 or 80 degrees here!
