Topic: Nodes and psychic tendencies?

I read somewhere that if you have the south node in the 12th house that you should avoid developing psychic abilities... But I don't remember it saying why. I have south node conjunct sun and sun conjunct chiron... All In Cancer in the 12th, and have had many psychic/bizarre/otherworld experiences and I personally love delving into that stuff... I would love to spend more time developing it but I wonder if it takes away from my north node stuff? And it's weird because I have neptune conjunct north node... So there's kind of a contradiction in a way. Does anyone have any insight? Anyone with SN in the 12th? ------------------

NN in H6 could imply that you need to develop and focus on the mundane and living in the real, practical, skeptical world. With SN in H12, you're drawn to these otherwordly things but they take away from your life lesson right now - they are a distraction, a negative influence.IP: Logged |

I can definitely relate to needing to focus more on mundane life, every day tasks and service, but the experiences I've had have helped people usually... It's really hard to see it as a negative influence because when it happens I have an overwhelming sense of oneness with life. But I do notice it won't take me anywhere... IP: Logged |

Of course it's hard to see it as a negative influence - it's easy and natural and you're comfortable with it and it doesn't challenge you. But that's not the point.@nahyt; fly into space.  IP: Logged |

12th house matters come easy to you, you're naturally gifted and talented, you could even profit off of it.
Yes you do need to focus on 6th house matters if you want to progress or you'll find yourself stuck.I have SN in the 2nd house and It's not hard for me to make some dough...
Not really sure about 8th house matters, it seems pretty shady haha.

Yeah I can imagine. Maybe there's an interest in psychology or medicine for you? Or metaphysical persuits...

Here's something tricky:  I have NN in Pisces conjunct Vertex and Pallas in my 6th. For me, it's about integrating Piscean things in 6th-house related stuff. It's even stevens . NN sextiles my 4th house Uranus in Capricorn which is also ruler of the 6th. Uranus is also opposite my 10th house Chiron Rx in Cancer and trine Juno in Virgo. The dispositor of my Sun and Venus is Uranus. If you don't take into consideration a wide conjunction of at least 6 and 7 degrees between Uranus and Saturn & Neptune respectively as well as a contra-parallel to the Moon, then Uranus is my only unaspected planet. I have a twelfth house south node and am very distracted by otherworldly concerns in my daily life and can spend a lot of time thinking about them. I tend to overdo the emotions at time and feel too much. I can really grasp painful situations people are in.

I have this & I developed all of it, lol. I'm now trying to take the insights from the 12th into the house of service (6th). So I'm using these abilities to help others.
