I've seen that when Lunar return angles are touched by natal planets, or natal angles are touched by LR planets (conjunctions), then meaningful events have happened in that month. For example, got a good job when LR Moon was conjunct LR MC. My father died when LR IC was exactly conjunct natal Neptune. Well, there are other examples, but i'm writing this by heart, and have not them in front of me. I think that the idea is clear - angles + planets or angles + angles = events that somehow affect your life. Maybe when there is no angle action, LR only shows minor events and/or emotional condition of that month. Could you look up lunar returns for the most meaningful events of your life and list here if there were any angle/planet or angle/angle conjunctions present? Also keep the orbs tight for being precise.  I think max. 1,5 degrees...
I think i'm going to start keeping a track of my lunar returns now. I've got a return 30 september, and it seems that this month will have an event that will be of real significance to me -->
LR Moon, Jupiter, Mars all in 8H LR ASC conjunct N. IC EXACT (that makes LR DS C conjunct N. MC EXACT too, lol)
LR MC conjunct N. Venus EXACT
I will post an update when this LR is over to see if there would be something BIG for real as one could expect from this angle action.

I just checked my current lunar return (for the 5th october, cause I am going to be on a concert then)-So LR ASC on 17.20 Aquarius conjunct Moon on 17.06 Aquarius that should be quite significant, right? - LR MC on 11.43 Sagittarius conjunct n Neptune on 9.56 Sag and n NN on 10.10 Sag (a bit widely) IP: Logged |

Yes, that should be significant! This month must be really tied to your emotions somehow. Also Moon is the main figure in Lunar Return, so it adds to it. What house your natal Moon is in?

I also landed a good job when LR MC was conjunct my natal moon, LR IC conj my jupiter. There's a yod too with the moon at the apex. The LR AC/DC axis also conjuncts my natal AC/DC by 5 deg. IP: Logged |

2nd house, rules the 8th. I am actually right now tumbling from concert to concert. lol
It should be more of a Venusian matter though, but anyway, as for my emotions, they are very forefront, yes. My tertiary progressed (monthly - would be comparable to the lunar Return) - ASC is on 10 Cancer right now; my secondary progressed Moon is on 13 CAncer exactly conj. sp Saturn. And we all know where Pluto is transiting right now. lol I find it interesting though that my lunar REturn has ASC conj. Moon, and my tertiary progression has a Cancer-ASC (the conjunction to Moon-Saturn is out of orb and has happened in the past). Anyway maybe you find it as interesting as me but today my tertiary Moon is on 17 Aquarius conjunct the natal Moon exact.
Tomorrow it wil still be in one degree orb, on 18 Aquarius.
And of course that also overlays with the lunar return. So it is about Moon, Moon, Moon, this month.
oh and my secondary progressed DESC is on 9 Cancer (conj. my tertiary progressed ASC), all intensified by the Pluto-transit.
