I see Cancer as the DEEP OCEAN -- Scorpio as a HEAVY WATERFALL -- Pisces as a FLOWING RIVER. Deep intuition & strong gut instincts are traits that I feel very strongly. So PISCES helps me in this way! Having Mercury in the 6th HOUSE though helps me too, I've realized. It grounds me & aids me in paying close attention to detail when I need to.
Mercury/Pisces/6th house gives a talent for visual imagery, metaphor, allegory, seeing the big picture and of course poetry. 6th house is the best house for Merc imo, where it is accidentally exalted due to house since it is exalted in Virgo and 6th is Virgo's natural house. This is why Pisces Mercury is a good time with me, so is Sag, Virgo and Gemini. It's because whenever Mercury is in any of these signs it's either home or exalted and it also rules my sun so it has more strength. Anyway, back on topic: I have Venus ruling my first house with three planets conjunct the ascendant, including the one ruling my sun so yes, I do feel very much the twelfth house Libran influence since the ruler of my sun is conjunct the ascendant in Libra. I cannot discount the Leonine influence on my chart ruler though. I do incorporate the Virgo qualities to a certain extent but I do not possess the accuracy many sun Virgos are capable of. I do at times but it's inconsistent while other Virgos tend to be right on top of things at all times.

I'm so sorry. But "Ophiuchus" sounds like a fish fetus. Or some odd STD. I still do not even know how to pronounce the word! I hope you're not offended. You're awesome though - all that Scorpio in your chart. IP: Logged |

Venus rules my first house. Pluto is conjunct asc in the first house. Mars from the 12th, but it's difficult for me to really separate out Mars energy from my Sun to be honest. I feel those planets very very strongly. They are quite prominent in myself I think. However, I think when push comes to shove I feel my Sun the most. Probably due to it being in it's own sign, Leo, added to it being a huge influence to anyone regardless as this massive luminary. IP: Logged |

You are also mercury dominant?Im a virgo sun with cancer ascendant, but my mercury in libra is one of my dominating planets, making me a bit airy! I'm terrible at multitasking though, it's just not my thing...:P IP: Logged |

I wonder which is considered better? Venus or Jupiter on the ascendant. Since one is considered greater, would it be better placed than the other? I wonder if anything is well placed on the ascendant besides Mars, if it's in a sign it does well in, that is. The sun, too, depending on sign. Here's an interesting scenario. Suppose you have sun conjunct Mars in Libra and they are conjunct the ascendant. Would the fact they are on the ascendant subtract from them being in Libra? IP: Logged |

Apparently I have both venus (pisces) in my first house (and assumingly my ascendant as well?? seeing as how it's also in pisces), as well as my jupiter (in Aries) in my first house. Aqua sun and mercury in my 12th house. I've always said that I feel like a total combination between Aquarius, Pisces, and Sagittarius. Aries not so much, but I guess I definitely feel the fire influence, but since I have 3 planets in Sagittarius, including my mars - that tends to be the fire planet that I associate most with. my sun is in Cap 4th housemy mars/saturn/scorpio are in scorpio 1st house what i feel is alot of cardinal energy due to my sun moon asc being in cardinal signs/houses. though my moon is at the end of the 9th house but i can experiece both the 9th and 10th house influences of my moon. IP: Logged |

Venus is in my first house; venus is also the ruler of my first house and both sole and final dispositor. I guess I am venus dominant. Mercury is also conjunct venus in 1 st. IP: Logged |

Can you guys tell me more about how jupiter in aries in 1st would affect me? Honestly I've always known that my venus/ascendant were in my 1st house, but i only found out about the whole jupiter/aries thing a second before i posted that after looking up my houses on astrotheme. IP: Logged |

i like 1st house placements a lot, the assertiveness and dynamics that can come with it especially in personal planets like the sun.IP: Logged |

It's a very lucky aspect I believe...it's both in 1st house(aries house) and IN aries the sign...so I guess you have a very good luck with you all the time where you go!? Ever felt like that? Jupiter is ruled by sag normally...but it's still a fire sign which is good...not that I know that much about aries jupiter, but I think it's nice Having a planet in the 1st house makes it more a part of your appearance, the more planets in 1st house the more "dynamic" and bubbly personality... the danger is that you can become a bit "self-absorbed" and maybe even selfish.. how is your jupiter aspected?
