Are people who are immersed in and obsessed with astrology, digging deeper and living a world of symbols are they out of touch with reality?
What aspects indicate this? Neptune in its own home? Badly aspected Neptune?
Is there a Neptune aspect that floods and envelops the person into a whirlpool of neptunian emotions and suck them out of real life? IP: Logged |

I have neptune square mercury, opposition jupiter, sextile venus and conjunction uranus/saturnI think I live in my own world, but the funny thing is Astrology also says that:P Astrology could even explain people that is actually out of touch with the real world...that's why astrology seems so real to me!:O

I have Sun square Neptune, Sun/Moon/Mercury/Venus in the 8th house, Scorpio Saturn square AC from the 3rd house... I guess that I'm distant and introverted, and then not too interested in what's outside, so that I end up being kind of disconnected from the real world and live in my own world.IP: Logged |

People have accused me of living in my own world, i'm currently going through a mercury opposite neptune transit. My mercury and neptune are in the 3rd house, i feel very confused and disconnected from people and life in general. There's also alot of miscommunication between me and others, alot of misinterpretting, imagining ect. IP: Logged |

Exactly, astrology IS real  Besides, what do you mean by reality? This physical reality? I aspire to connect more to the higher planes which are real too if not even more real than this one so I actually live on the edge of two worlds. Maybe I'm not completely grounded here but it's not that bad, I think the benefits outweigh the disadvantages  But do I even have a choice with Sun conjunct Neptune (tightest conjunction), ASC trine Neptune and Neptune conjunct Uranus?  ------------------

I always thought it was the moon, because the moon is so self focused. Outer planets give the ability to connect with others when they are aspecting personal planets.
you'll see in the charts of world leaders or Icons mercury aspecting outer planets.
The outer planets set the trend so either these people could be trend setters or followers IP: Logged |

I stay pretty grounded for the most part.
Saturns only aspects a sextile to Pluto and Trine to Neptune.
Virgo placements of personal planets help out. However, Venus square Neptune. Noooooo doubt that one bites me sometimes. Once it starts, it's difficult to stop. I'll literally have dreams about the person I've become obsessed with. I'll take anything and find the positive light in it.
Astrologically speaking, any harsh aspects that I see in the synastry I simply overlook. My mind is completely focused on anything positive that I can see and nothing else. Being aware of this aspect, it does get me, but I can bring myself back to reality after some time. IP: Logged |

Hm...I have some strong Pluto but only moderate to small influences of Uranus and Neptune. I'm more concerned with breaking reality and forcing truth upon it (the essence of Pluto) than I am escaping it or chasing my own reality (the essences other two). IP: Logged |

Uranus is an intense planet it's exaltation is Scorpio and it's considered one of enlightenment and awakening. Perhaps it has to do with truth, too? Uranian truths are much more abrupt and sudden, not really forced, just there, and knowledge based, like a sudden break thrus that propel mankind into a different age. IP: Logged |

Hm...Uranus does invite new ages but because Uranus is about group ideals and the interest of the masses. Pluto will let the world burn down if that's what the world is doing to itself but not before saying, "you've doomed yourself to hell."Uranus looks at a dysfunctional world and sees how to forget everything that's bad and maximise the good.
