I've heard this placement should mean good luck if it's not afflicted, anyone experience this firsthand? & what would constitute an afflicted 7th house anyway?------------------ Sun Virgo 16°08'29 end of house 5 direct Moon Scorpio 0°25'05 in house 6 direct Mercury Libra 7°19'30 in house 6 direct Venus Scorpio 1°06'25 in house 6 direct Mars Cancer 14°48'37 in house 3 direct Jupiter Scorpio 11°05'09 in house 7 direct Saturn Pisces 8°27'08 in house 11 retrograde Uranus Capricorn 22°36'17 in house 10 retrograde Neptune Capricorn 20°43'24 in house 10 retrograde Pluto Scorpio 25°36'26 in house 7 direct True Node Scorpio 16°31'19 in house 7 retrograde IP: Logged |

It brings you good luck in relationships and finding a good partner that fits you... but having an afflicted jupiter could mean that you tend to exaggerate your feelings, you might mis interpret people and therefor it begins with choosing the wrong partner and then stick to him for too long... jupiter in 7th house people really have a tendency to stay together with their partner no matter what...there is always a great connection with the partner, but it could be his lifestyle or other things in his world that makes trouble in the relationship with afflicted jupiter... I do think it hard to have a really "afflicted" jupiter though.. no matter how many squares and oppositions, this would still make your personality outgoing, exiting, expansive...you will still seem like a warmhearted person, just on the more optimistic and unrealistic side... you could also be a bit too good at spending money and in general you "give too much" without even knowing it because it's just how you are... I have a friend with an afflicted jupiter in 7th, she has been with her guy for 5 years, and they have had a loooot difficulties, but still they stick together...it wasn't really conflicts about their personalities, but more about lifestyle, job, money, and stuff like that...even though she is saturn-influenced and has a highly developed realistic sense, and she does seem to know what is wrong, she still has this idealistic optimism that everything will eventually be okay because they got each other.... I don't think this is especially helpful for her though, it would have been better if she found a guy who was more ambitious, mature and energetic, but she believes in this lazy pisces guy lol... I would say it could lead or partners of some sag quality - happy, excessive, broad minded. Also, multiple partners as it is about expansion. An affliction I would consider not only a planet with difficult aspects but also maybe in detriment or fall (Gemini and Capricorn respectively), or maybe on the SN even. So, I don't have any squares and the only opposition is my asc. Also my Jupiter is trine Saturn & mars so my Jupiter isn't afflicted, right? IP: Logged |

Is my Jupiter afflicted? I have Jupiter in Aries, trine Moon and Square Neptune.
