My first experience with this overlay has not been pleasant and just wanted to see how others have experienced it. My understanding is that it represents, among other things, sexuality/attraction of a sexual nature. My experience though, is that it's not a healthy attraction, like 5th/7th, but one in which the person sees you as a sex object/fantasy, and perhaps even objectifies you. Is this a right reading for a synastry overlay with this house? I have my moon in my friends 8th and his venus and mars fall into my 8th, but his comments to me are sometimes - well, they make me feel like he sees me in a negative way, and I feel like he is attracted only to how I look and nothing more matters. 5th house is like the summer fling but 8th house overlays feels like your trapped under frozen waters.
