I was going to start a topic in Asteroid Astrology about (129) Antigone. From wiki: "In Greek mythology, Antigone is the daughter of Oedipus and Jocasta, Oedipus' mother. The name has been suggested to mean "opposed to motherhood", "in place of a mother"." I've found it prominent in the charts of (women, at least) who I know are not interested in having children or who have voiced concern about not being a decent mother. I have it conjunct my SN which is interesting, because I think that motherhood will be a BIG part of my life in the future. The urge has grown stronger and stronger for me as I've aged (23 now) and I can't look at a guy without considering whether or not he would be a good potential baby daddy IP: Logged |

-I have chiron and NN in 5th house-Moon afflicted too -I don't think my 5th house ruler is afflicted unless by square uranus (yes, I know it's could be the case) -I have a strong Uranus and think it could count too Never wanted a family

Antigone conjunct Mercury in the 4th. Hmmm... Ok, I confess - I'm one of these cases Capricorn 5th house with Saturn (but not only), Chiron opposite Saturn, afflicted Moon, Uranus and Lilith in the 4th, Saturn conjunct Venus (loose though). ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I can't wait to be a mumma! I want at least 5 babies. There are times when I get in weird moods and am glad that I don't have any and then my brain starts going and all I think about is getting married and having a huge family. What would cause a person to want one badly then!!? IP: Logged |

I'll check this, but wath I perceived as a asteroid pattern in my chart actually confirms my lack of desire to be a housewife: - I have Sun conjunct Vesta and Innanen almost exact (this two are the stronger than isis and juno conjunction to sun) -I have Athene conjunct Saturn -Minerva conjunct Mercury - And now thanks to I'm So Cappy I found out that my NN is conjunct Hypatia Now, what these asteroids archetypes have in common? ---> women that never married/formed a family. Please correct me if I made some mistake here.

Lady, thanks for reminding me about these asteroids. Athene opposite Sun and Neptune. Vesta opposite Moon. And Antigone conjunct Mercury is apparently stronger than Mercury conjunct Juno ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Oprah http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Oprah_Winfrey susan boyle http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Susan_Boyle Condoleezza Rice http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Condoleezza_Rice Stevie Nicks http://www.astrotheme.com/astrology/Stevie_Nicks Here are some charts you can study.. Uhh I kinda glanced at them but I'm not really finding anything.. I'm too lazy to find a pattern ahahaha
I'll probably get back to it soon.. I'm kinda on the fence about having a family too, I'd probably pull an Oprah and fund a school for orphans or something like that. I don't think I could raise children.. IP: Logged |

Yes, there's some influence. But does it have anything to do with the lack of children? My 5th and 7th house ruler and even Sun, Venus and NN are there, what am I supposed to say? ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Don't know, maybe...but some people already said to me I'll have children because of my NN in the 5th.But mercury is a planet related more to thinking and have babies maybe is something about feel/desire (moon/venus/etc) Almost all the ones I know that want a baby always "feel" this way, like a inner desire, not thinking.
