So like 4 days ago my friend introduced me to a guy she's working with as a waitress, and he was born on exactly same day, year and place but still we are so different, it hurts, so to those that claim that You can just know everything about someone just by looking at a chart, explain me this? It's not even the first time, I used to go out with a guy that was born on the same day & year as my bff of that time, both dec 1 and still they were so different like you wouldn't believe and I wonder why is it so?

And coming back to that guy I met, we clash a lot just in convos and overall I find him pretty annoying...

Well...I am no expert..but for you guys to have the same natal charts he would have to be born at the same time as well because the time determines the ascendant, houses, etc.
Also there are many other things to look at I'm sure, such as upbringing, enviornment, etc. There is always free will too.

Clashing might make sense.

Even a 5 to 10 minute age difference can make a live totally incomparable. Look at twins, some of them are nothing alike!
I know a person that was born very close to the time I was born but in the US, I'm from the Netherlands. We do share the same moon too. I notice that the patterns in our lives are pretty similar, moods tend to be alike too. But we have different house placements so we are not applying the things in our lives in the same manner. It's also about choices, I think your astrology is a part of you, but it's like a tree, you can pick a left/right at every cross and no choice will lead you in the same direction.

I think I may respond from my level of experience.
For, let's say, the first 20 years of our lives my twin sister and I more or less followed the same pattern of life. As our lives increasingly progressed we more and more followed our own path.
Although we enjoyed virtually the same breeding, there are still enough differences between us.
In my opinion there are always differences and similarities.

I have someone who was born the day before me, and we have the same sun, mercury, venus, mars, Jupiter, Saturn etc. But we're nothing alike.
