What synastry aspects might make you feel like revealing things to a person...things that you normally wouldn't say to anyone?

Mercury-Pluto for one thing...

quote:
When your Mercury is in conjunction to your partner’s Pluto, your partner transforms your way of thinking. The Pluto person inspires the Mercury person to delve deeply into subjects. On the downside, the Pluto person may attempt to control the Mercury’s person thoughts, and may be overly forceful in imposing his views on the Mercury person. Also, Pluto may demand to know all of Mercury’s secrets, which may put Mercury on edge.

Hard aspects between Mercury and Pluto in synastry share many things in common with the conjunction aspect, but are a bit trickier to handle. Pluto may demand to know all of Mercury’s secrets. Pluto’s probing could bring up Mercury’s uncomfortable secrets, leaving the Mercury person feeling “exposed.” Pluto may be too forceful in shaping and transforming the Mercury’s thoughts and ideas, which could aggravate the Mercury person.

Harmonious aspects between Mercury and Pluto in synastry indicate that the two of you will engage in deep, penetrating conversations. This exchanges will serve to stimulate your thoughts and “get to the root” of subjects and issues of interest. You find it easy to tell each other your deepest secrets.

But I think there are other ways it could happen...

- Their planets in my 12th house.

- I'm a Scorpio ASC and people with Mercury in Scorpio can extract infos from me like no other. Their Mercury usually falls in my 1st.

That's ironic.

I have an exact square of my Pluto to his Mercury, yet he's the one who's always influencing me. Granted, he's practised. But it's gotten to the point where I'm always perceiving this undertone of an influence. My brain starts working like, 'op-counterop-counter-counter-op,' which is just emotionally exhausting.

We were both trained to influence, just differently. Different schools, honestly.

I think it's interesting that his Hidalgo is right on my Mercury, too. To me, that seems like the influence I'm picking up. Then again, it becomes natural. An automatic, rather than intended response.

Maybe I should be glad the Pluto's there?

I recall his being somewhat initially relieved. Like, oh, someone he won't mentally run roughshod over; what a breath of fresh air! Heh.

^ Hmm! That IS odd, if his Mercury is doing that to your Pluto. I'm curious what the signs are? Have you posted your charts at Personal Readings, cuz I'm so curious now!

@anonymidarkness

I've gotta check and see where this one ex's Mercury was...it was just ridiculous how much he got me to talk.

*short time lapse*

I don't have my exact birth time but his Mercury was either in my 12H, right on the ASC, or in the first.

Good call

Agree with mercury-pluto aspects.

People whose planets fall into my 8th house or 12th house. They always sniff out my secrets, whether I like it or not.

Other than that I guess harmonious moon aspects ? You feel comfortable with the other person hence your guards go down and you reveal more about yourself ?

Mercury in Scorpio trine my Mercury in Pisces - That's the only one.

I know a lot of people, teachers, family friends etc - in my parent's generation and they have Virgo Pluto opposite my Mercury - but I don't really reveal stuff, more than usual..

Moon conjunct Ascendant.
The Moon person feels safe with the Ascendant person and tends to overshare. Sometimes saying things the Ascendant person doesn't need or even want to hear.

I have Mercury in Sag, I fear anyone who is willing to listen to me, might learn more than he really want to.

I notice that about a guy with MErcury in Sag (and squaring Mars and Jupitr), too. Sometimes he seems to have to forcefully stop himself from continuing talking, getting suddenly hit by the realization he might be sharing too much.

But of course there are sometimes people who can get even more out of me than the general "listeners".
Mercury-Pluto seems to be a big one for me, too, which even includes the sextile.
Though usually it is my Pluto. Pluto rules my 11th and 12th house, and in his function of 12th house ruler he might be a very direct route into my subconsciousness, and people who trigger that (seems talking is a good trigger of Mercury), will get their insight into me. Well, to be honest sometimes I am even learning things through talking with them, that i wasn`t quite as aware of before myself.

(the 8th house might be more about the dark or deep corners of our soul, we are aware of, and thus it might sometimes feel shameful if someone sees through us like glass; and sometimes it might feel like finally we are understood into our depths; the 12th house is more blurry in this regard)

There are other synastric aspects though:
Mercury-Neptune, Mercury-Moon, Moon - ASC, Moon-Neptune, Moon-Pluto (more of an emotional sharing though, than outrigt verbalized), Psyche (and Pallas)-Psyche, Psyche-Sun, Psyche-Mercury, Psyche-Neptune, Psyche-Pluto, Psyche-ASC

So for this kind of communication I really like to check for Moon, Mercury and additionally Psyche and Pallas.
Though Moon and Psyche are more intuitive and emotional, while Mercury and Pallas usually are more rational and analytical.

Uranus, Neptune and Pluto might intensify this proces quite a lot.

In my opinion the 12th house is responsible for revealing deeper secrets. It either has to be on synastry, composite or one's planets falling into the other's 12th house. In this case the secrets come out so physically with no pressure, comparing with Pluto and 8th house, where there's a bit of manipulation and regret.

Fortunately I have Pisces on the 8H cusp, and an 8H Pisces moon. So, if I'm telling someone my life story because they have Pisces planets, I don't have to regret it with them. Pisces makes people understanding and forgiving.

Oh, and my moon is simultaneously extracting secrets from their planets as well, so we're even.

Makes sense...or maybe it's more like, your communication them would be more in line with what's making you both very comfortable? You don't feel driven or pressured at all, it's just what flows.

Moon opposite moon works this way for me as well.

They can sense what I'm not comfortable with saying...but can give me subtle signs that they are aware of, and sympathetic to, my reservations, or the general nature of the problem. Communication without words.

I love Leo moons, it's one of my very favorite placements...I'm a Leo ASC. So Leo moons are either shining happily in my 12H, lighting up my gloomy 12H 0 Leo Saturn, or they are talking to me as you describe.

But as for me, there is nothing that I don't want to hear. My other placements make me 100% curious (3H Pluto, Pluto trine Mercury, etc.)

Hmmm...yeah, my husband and I have 12H Mars in composite, which falls in my natal 12H, and I just feel weird withholding any secrets from him. I do withhold alot, so I have to feel weird a lot.

Well, my Pallas is on 9 Aquarius, exactly trine my Pluto and exactly sextile my Neptune-NN-conjunction. Which means my Neptune is on the Pallas/Pluto-midpoint. I kinda like the ring of it.

quote:
Pallas Athena was the second asteroid discovered. Named after Jupiter's daughter, Pallas Athena is intelligent and cerebral. She is the weaver of patterns, linking ideas together. She is strategic command in both the warrior and the peaceful general.

Cities are her domain. She has an interconnection with Libra because of her focus on ideas. Like Libra, she can see both sides. She is not blind justice… she is only just. She is creative and artistic. She is a survivor. She expects everyone to claim their personal power.

Where her influence falls is where you will find talents in the following areas. Jupiter's daughter carries influence over many things, such as the immune system, the arts, the father/daughter relationship, intuition, justice, wisdom, defense, horses and the kidneys.

With her spotlight on daddy's little girl, Pallas Athena will help determine how you interpret your relationship with your father, and in turn how you treat all males in general. On her negative side, Pallas Athena touches on conflict, legal battles, injustice and illnesses due to a weakened immune system.

Hmm! I love this!

And I can see why Pluto trine Pallas is so cool and why you like having your NN-Neptune on the Pluto/Pallas MP.

I looked it up, my Pallas is at 24 Pisces, conjunct my best friend's sun and Mercury.

I find Pallas working more in a Mercurial sense, but with an emphasis on finding patterns, or synchronizations.

IQ also mentioned it is associate with Pineal Gland awareness, and i think there is something to it.

I haven`t really experienced the warrior-like quality of Pallas, as she is often depicted, though.

Interestingly my Dad`s Jupiter is conjunct my Pallas. lol

Holy cow, I just looked it up and my father's Jupiter is at 25 Pisces, less than half a degree from my Pallas. What a coincidence!

Oh and my dad was a Libra:

quote:
Cities are her domain. She has an interconnection with Libra because of her focus on ideas.

I have suspected that my 18 Pisces moon affects my thinking more than my chart would suggest. It is about semi-square my 5 Aquarius Mercury. But maybe it's just that Pallas' thinking, being Piscean, reminds me of my moon.

The warrior, in my life, could be my willingness to fight for the underdog (Pisces).

how interesting, that both our Dad`s have their Jupiter conjunct our Pallas!

Though mine is a tad wide, between 2-3 egrees.

I definitely inherited a lot about the way I think or my mental processes work from him.

"

Oh and my dad was a Libra:"
My Dad`s Sun is in Aquarius, the sign of my Pallas, but too wide for a conjunction (4-5 degrees away)

I find it interesting that in my chart PALLAS, Moon, Psyche and Black Moon Lilith area ALL in Aquarius

Pallas: 10 degrees (well 9°47)
Moon: 17 degrees
Psyche: 24 degrees
mean Lilith: 24 degrees
BML: 28 degrees

though there is no conjunction with it I find it interesting how my Moon is on the exact Pallas/Psyche mp there.

Interesting how both of us have Pallas in the sign of our Moon.

I have a question for you Faith. When you first met did you feel intimacy? I felt it with a guy that in our composite chart we have Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Uranus in the 12th house and not to mention our telepathy...
