I appreciate and admire talent, but I also do appreciate and admire hard work.
Talent on its own will not get any job done. Besides how do we define talent?

But yeah, if someone is good in doing something, I think it`s great. but it`s not that I am overly impressed or in awe because of that.

I don't have a whole lot to add to this thread because it's been summed up really well...humor/intelligence are big. This could overall just be defined as "sharp wit" if you're looking for something simple.

One other thing that really impresses me about people is those who just go after their dreams or work on achieving what it is that they really want out of life. I am not, at all, impressed by people who stay stuck in corporate jobs and complain about it. I think people who strive to achieve excellence are really inspiring, so I mean I guess I could stand behind someone who wants to climb the corporate ladder because it's genuinely their dream...I'm more impressed by people doing things with their lives that are off the beaten path, though. I think Sag aims super high as far as intellectual understanding goes, so those in positions of mastery in their specific fields always have my immediate respect.

Ceri sort of touched on the above when she said:
Also people who are thinking their own thoughts (and not copying something blindly others said, just because they heard it somewhere), people who will get engaged in a cause they believe in.
