What does it mean to have a planet on the edge of a house?

Does it mean the person will feel energies of both the houses that the planet is in between?

For example:

I have Saturn in between the 2nd house and 3rd
I have Mercury in between the 9th house and 8th

Is it better to interpret these planets in the next house that it's closest to?

capricorn asc ♑
libra sun ♎
libra moon ♎
9th house Stellium in Libra

This has been playing on my mind aswell -

If i planet is right behind the cusp of the next house is it conjunct?

I don't think you can honestly have a planet 'in between' a house. The house cusps are solid calculations; a planet falls in one house or the other.

If, say, it's in the 7H but less than a degree from being in the 8H, I do believe the fact it's conjunct the 8C has merit, yes.

How exactly to delineate that, I'm not sure. You might simply take the cusp conjunction as a secondary influence - much as you would secondary houses.

To me it means it's conjunct a house cusp and it brings that house out more. Like, I have the sun conjunct the twelfth house cusp, Mercury, Jupiter and Uranus conjunct the first, Saturn conjunct the eighth. So these houses are emphasized more in my chart because the planets and sun conjunct the cusps.

I don't interpret luminaries or planets conjuncting a cusp as being in the house unless they are actually in it but I do think the house is emphasized regardless.

Also, it depends on the house system in use. Some houses systems have a planet or light that's close to a cusp in the next house.

What about Placidus? My Moon conjuncts the cusp of the next house by like less than one degree so I wonder about it too.
