i love Maggie, love her in Downton Abbey, she is such a good actress, i looked for BD info, but her TOB is unknownbut she to me is Libra Moon, not Virgo, we know her sun is in Cap, but i also think her ascendant might also be Cap with those cheekbones, all thined out if you look at some of her younger day pics IP: Logged |

She is so self-deprecating.The Moon in Virgo and Sun in Capricorn is obvious. But I'm getting the Ascendant being in a sign that pays attention to intellectual expression; Aquarius, Gemini, Sagittarius etc. IP: Logged |

I've never tried to guess ascendants before just by looking at a picture. Sometimes the secondary ascendant is more prominent. But look at those mysterious eyes. This may be way off, but the first thing I notice are those mysterious eyes, even in her films her eyes are mysterious. I think her rising sign is on the cusp of Pisces-Aries. Pisces always has a look of mystery, Aries rules the eyes and head, and she has a high forehead. Bone structure and earthy look can be explained by sun and moon. Graves disease affects the eyes also. Anyway, it's just a guess, and it puts Sun, Mercury, Venus in 10H for public recognition. IP: Logged |

Her eyes as seen in both pictures speak of water to me, but that need not be found in the sign on the Asc. It could be a planet(s) of water conjunct or parallel it. Not only that, but at those northern latitudes in England, a widened 1st house intercepting Pisces is possible for an Aqua riser.This is a perfect example of how important it is to take a look at pictures of someone when they were (a) old enough for the face to be fully developed in its features and (b) not so old that it has lost its clarity. Generally teens to 30 is a good rule of thumb. Note the longishness and apparent rectangular outline of the face with the high forehead. High foreheads are seen with the mutable signs most markedly. So a mutable or fixed sign for the Asc. That back-slanting forehead inclines me to air/fire, so Aqua is ahead now in my reasoning. Indeed a chart set tentatively for early Aqua shows Pisces intercepted in the 1st and Saturn there.

You're right about the age in a photograph. I think someone could guess me from a picture in my 30's but not now, not even from a high school photo. But then again, there are so many planetary influences in my chart - my planets start at Cancer and run all the way through Aquarius - and they all have an effect that show on some level.
