Of course this was a political marriage to ensure the peacetreaty between England and France, however leaving the politics aside (which can hardly be done, I know, I know), I suppose they must have had some impression of each other. What would you think? What did they think of each other personally, or "feel for each other? It seems that Catherine`s "true love" was Owen Tudor (though I believe they met after she became a widow), but there is no birthdata for him. DRat! Anyway, as for Henry and Catherine (clearly romanticised by some authors), it was a political marriage, yes, but would they have liked each other? Who would have liked whom more? It is just speculation I know, ut I LOVE to speculate.

Mars opp saturn.. Explains why he was such a dick to her..mars conjunct her saturn. He definitely felt small around her. Suns aspecting each others mars. both respect each others personal power. The synastry feels cold and martian.

playing devil's advocate here. (is the blue one, inside) her? I'm hoping yes, the blue has a Venus/Uranus/10th conjunction which would be understanding and even be a little turned on by his "dickness" The red (outside) is Uranus conjunct the Ascendant and would epitomise Uranian energy. if it was vice-versa, I'd say he was enticed by her (some part/point of her) and yes it could have very well been dysfunctional. sorry ceri, I'm off to look these two up ------------------

No Henry is inside, Catherine outside. (they really like to stick to the same nams, donīt they?). anyway, I found it interesting, how their Moons are exactly conjunct.
But I agree there is enough in this synastry to point to some disfunctions (and it probably was). However, her Venus is conjunct his Sun; his Valentine is conjunct her Sun (and Karma). There probably was more affectionate feelings then were "neccessary" for a political union. IP: Logged |

that would explain why he was so enamoured by her also moon conjunct moon - isnt this suppose to be like a soulmate aspect, they'd be like mirrors this certainly was a public marriage - composite moon in 7th, a 10th house stellium no wonder its martian energy these people ended a war

Blueskiez,"that would explain why he was so enamoured by her " Yes, from what I read, he was. Though of course it could have been just for "publicity-reasons". "also moon conjunct moon - isnt this suppose to be like a soulmate aspect, they'd be like mirrors" I don`t know about that, though sometimes it can be a soulmate aspect, yes. Especially in Cancer here. In 7th and 8th house, in composite 7th house, conjunct the Black Moon. I`d say that is really deep (though complicated) emotional involvement. Interesting for a royal couple. Ruler of 8th house in 7th house resembles a Venus-Pluto-conjunction. it`s one of the houseconnections I have found to be most predominant in romantic soulmate relationships (along with the connection of 8th to 1st or 2nd, and 7th to 4h). It also means their 8th house rulers were in exact conjunction in 7th/ 8th house. His 5th house ruler conjuncts her 2nd house ruler (even if it is Mars-Saturn ) - he probably felts some kind of sensual pull towards her. With her Vesta conjunct Saturn and conjunct his 5th house ruler Mars, for her this might have been like a "sharing of herself", not necessarily because of deeply felt love, almost like a spiritual sharing (Vesta is intriguing. lol) Her 5th house ruler conjuncts his Sun and Mercury - so she probably was drawn to him, too, but with his Sun and MErcury ruling 9th house it makes me think of him being abroad most of the time. Maybe distance made her heart grow fonder. Or was that too negative now? lol Her Uranus was squaring his Sun and Mercury, too, and her own Venus, mirroring his own Venus-Uranus-conjunction. They probably agreed on the amount of space between them. lol
It`s intersting their MOon-conjunction would have made them feel so close, emotionally attached to each other, but their Venus-Uranus needed some distance, too.
