Do you have any neptune squares in your natal chart or synastry? How is the connection between your imagination/creativity and your surroundings? And if you have it in synastry - do you idealize or fantasize about your partner, and is it disappointing or exiting?Pleeeease I need answers! IP: Logged |

Mars in Aries square Neptune in the 8th house I like this energy it's an exact square, squares on it's own is martian by nature. Dreamy and hypnotic sexual undertone. Venus and mars conjunct and square Neptune. It's interesting to say the least lol.. Very dreamy. IP: Logged |

I have neptune sq my venus in natal and it makes me delusional in love (and sometimes friendships too). It is exciting at first but usually always ends in disappointment. I have had this in synastry too where i was venus and the guy was Neptune. He lied to me constantly and cheated on me ALOT! I did not find out (or believe) the half of what he was doing until i was out of the relationship. I would believe all of his lies even when my gut feeling( and other people lol) told me not too. What about your taste in music, art, movies, creative stuff - are they similar?

Can I ask you what about him was a disappointment? Ofc if he cheated, but what about his appearance? Did it also appeal to you first, and then you got disappointed?

Not really our taste/aesthetics are completely different. For me that's not really important in relationships. IP: Logged |

But do you like his style and taste, even though it's different from yours? Sounds like your squares bring some excitement more than fantasies? IP: Logged |

I have Mercury square Neptune & Venus Square Neptune. Great for imagination & creativity, yes! The squared planets are in the 5th though & creativity is my profession. However I seriously lose everything, like keys, my phone, etc. Focus on practical stuff is immensely difficult for some reason & it costs me at least 30 minutes a day to start locating keys, etc. Idealisation with relationships is also true. I like Neptune though, because it's really like living in fairytale land at times... So the level you get on is great. I just have to keep balance with the mundane. IP: Logged |

Yes, chart ruler is in 10th house Libra. Good taste etc knows what to buy me. Uranus is with Neptune so it is exciting. It's not as idealized because we're not in high school anymore but the fantasies are fulfilled in the bedroom lol.IP: Logged |

Who was initially attracted more, the Neptune or the Mars? Or how did you react differently to it?

in my chart Neptune squares Sun, Neptune Squares moon, Neptune squares Mercury, Neptune squares Jupiter, Neptune squares Saturn and Neptune squares the Ascendat yes it was busy the minute i was bornYes a lot of creativity and imagination, it is what i always got comments on. I think though it is the Neptune moon square that keeps bringing jealous types near me, when they see any praise coming nearby whether back in uni, or when i work they start making big fools of themselves that all the praise isn't their way. It usually backfires on them courtesy of their stupidity and my wide imagination, as i don't tolerate vindictiveness. Otherwise whenever i've entered any 'creative' competition since a kid till my early 20's i'd leave with something, and a lot of "did you come up with all that yourself?" from people who don't do so well in that aspect however sometimes with some of the other squares it is hard for me to see the reality of other people's intentions, and it is also hard for them to see it with me...(i think this is the Neptune square Asc. effect) IP: Logged |

Mozart had mars sq neptune. So do i ... Charles Carter reckined this was the only reallt productive contact between tge two planets, the friction aspect kept either from overwhelming the other.IP: Logged |

Neptune? He tried hard to be my friend so I'd say he was more drawn to me.. I always thought he was perfect, voted most beautiful eyes in 8th grade, rich, popular. I would say I was jealous of his life at first and I didn't like him because of it lol. I was actually suspicious of his intentions, nobody liked me because I was one of the only middle class kids in the school. Venus sextile my saturn so I'd say I was more cold and intimidated by Venus IP: Logged |

I was disappointed that he didn't love me like i thought he did and i'd wasted my time and love on someone who didn't really care about me. I found out later that i was his option in case another girl didn't work out. I was never disappointed in his appearance though. IP: Logged |

Natally I have Sun/Neptune square. I feel that I know myself pretty well, thought I might have idealized myself, or might have felt insecure about myself. With my husband, his Venus opposesy Sun and squares my Neptune. I'd say that one of our issues is that his way of expressing affection and love are different from what I've expected and idealized in relationships, so at times I would feel insecure about us and myself, as the lack of correspondence of expectations made me wonder if something was wrong. On the other hand, it would frustrate and hurt him as well, as he felt that he was not up to my expectations, while he didn't understand that it's not about him being perfect, but rather me not fully get his way of affection (I'm more expressive while he is more passive but we are both loving).
