I know another male, a few years older than I, who has the conjunction in his chart, and while I feel he uses the energy destructively and I constructively, it was an eerily familiar energy I felt the few times I've met him. We tend to steer clear of one another and are short on words - I think, due in no small part to our understanding of the Plutonian force that lies within each of us.

Someone I know compared us the other day, referring to a "charming, manipulative" power we both seem to wield over people. Sue Tompkins alluded to this ability in her book, too. Celebrity-wise, I know Beyoncé and Zac Efron both have it.... but I'm curious to know how you render Venus conjunct Pluto individuals.

Here, I'll list some qualities I've chalked up the configuration to bestow upon its natives:

-Horror of rejection
-Capable of sly maneuvering to keep someone's attention
-Emotionally insatiable for adoration
-Require masses of attention
-Tremendous charm; very diplomatic
-Knows "just how to please" or "just what to say"
-Talent for dealing with people so as to make each person think they are the most important person in the world
-Inner compulsion to conquer another's affections
-Require deep, profound, transformational relationships
-But are also frightened by the expenditure of a relationship
-Jealous tendencies when object of affection's attention strays
-Routinely, unknowingly give off sexual vibes
-Precipitate emotional outburst to get to the "root" of problems
-Trust issues, value commitment above all else

Sue Tompkins urges readers to keep in mind that any and all of the aforementioned qualities need not be evident - as Pluto operates in covert ways! So not many of the traits would be obvious to the casual onlooker.

I will answer in order.

Don't know about horror, but it is upsetting.
I don't really manoeuvre slyly.
I have learned to get by with very little emotional attention or adoration.
I don't particularly enjoy a lot of attention.
You'd have to ask others about whether I am charming.
I know well how to listen, which leads to knowing what needs to be said.
I am pretty clear on how much people mean to me, I do not manipulate or mislead people.
I have no desire to conquer another person's anything. I will gladly take that which they would give freely of themselves.

Emotional attachments are always sad to say goodbye to.
I'm not particularly jealous, but I think a little jealousy is a good reminder that someone means something important to you.
