What are your basic impressions of these people?

Their most/least appealing trait?

Are these individuals typically 'sexy'? (presence more than looks)

My best mate has this, he's always on the go, expressive, likes to lead, big forehead, action, motivator - Wouldn't say hes necessarily good looking though, has a good upright stance

I have Mars conjunct my ASC which is sort of like a first house Mars (and actually if you use Whole Signs, my Mars moves into the 1st house.)

People tell me I'm aggressive a lot, and I think I must ooze some kind of lust or something 'cause guys will tell me I'm sexy more often than any other compliment. It's really easy for me to intimidate someone, and I notice adults (when working) tend to quiet down easier in my presence than my other co-workers who are softer in demeanor.

Very feisty, direct people who won't beat around the bush. Like said, they're very active, always ready to do something or working on some project. They're pretty self-sufficient, too, and no matter how friendly and much of a teamworker they may look like, there's always going to be one part of their lives where they want to do things for themselves. I'd even say they need it. So if you want to get along with them, let them have that one thing or be the leader when they want to be. They're likely going to be amazing at it.

On the negative, they tend to get strong opinions from others and may attract people who are very competitive, because you may come across as powerful in some way, even if you don't mean it or aren't even aware of it.

Some of them had eye problems/bad eyesight or were very prone to accidents. Some were really, really interested in fighting or martial arts, which fits I'd say.

As for being sexy, I think their drive, the things they get passionate about are, if this makes sense. The natural look looks so good on them, way better than all dolled up. It's just raw, haha! The women especially look so good without make-up. For me, I also feel very safe around them, even if I just met them; like they'd have my back when I'd need help.

Then again, I have an Aries DSC, so I've met quite a few people with this Mars position/conj. Ascendant. I'm not exactly objective, lmao.

Why is being competitive being negative?

@meisseri - THAT'S TRUE! I thought it was people's Mars conjuncting my Pluto that brought out their competitiveness towards me, but duh! Mars conjunct ASC can do that. People are always secretly competitive with me and it's bewildering because a lot of things in my life are a struggle for me! It's the Mars in the 12th house influence but also brought out in the open by it being conjunct my ASC.

@PlutoFish: It does when people will do it because they have to "put you in their place" - I meant it in that kind of context. They seem to have it in for the Mars person personally, even if this person hasn't done anything to them. Or see them as a rival, the one to beat in some area. I guess it could evoke some sort of jealousy? How does that sound?

@Hanna: I wouldn't count out the Mars-Pluto conjunction! Wow. I don't know if I've had this in synastry (I'd be Pluto in that case), but it sounds very tough. For you, your Mars is hidden in a 12th house fog, so yes, that totally explains why you can't see why they'd think of you as a threat. The 12th house rules hidden enemies. If it makes you feel any better, it may trigger something and not be your fault at all. Like if asking someone why they dislike that kind of thing in you or why they feel so threatened all the sudden, they wouldn't be able to tell you. Like the way you present yourself just triggers these feelings. Can you relate to that?

Any way, I'm sorry you draw in that kind of people - the 12th house energy is so difficult to get in touch with.

BTW, if I'm slow to reply, it's being busy/ill/etc. I've left a few conversations hanging here on LL in the past and I just want to apologize to everyone if it happens again - it's nothing personal. <3

As for these people getting "strong reactions" from others, I can totally relate. I have PLUTO in the 1st so people sometimes react strongly to me also. Comes with having a powerful presence!!

I definitely feel very *SAFE* around Mars/1st males. The last guy I really, really liked had this position and I just *knew* he'd beat the sh*t out of anyone who'd try to hurt me, if not just KILL them altogether! Good Lord...that turned me on! I *love* a man who makes me feel protected.

I get it. Sounds sexy. That's why I asked LOL.

As long as Mars/1st people remain *respectful* with me...I love them to pieces!!!

If a person has a Pisces or Libra sun, for example...do you believe that them having Mars in their 1st House is watered down or softened much? Or it makes no real impact?

Not really sexy...my ex had this - mars in taurus 1st house

He was not kinda "OMG THIS MAN IS SO HOT" but he had some mars/neptune aspect and damn every girl in town wanted him... just because he was like...him:S

He kinda looked a bit brutal more than sexy, but his pisces ascendant made him sweet at the same time... and then his aqua sun! He sure looked original in the hot way...

but he already begin to lose his hair HAH and his only 24 so he can kiss my virgo a** goodbye!

The guy I'm thinking about had a Scorpio ASC to go ALONG with his Scorp-Mars in the 1st. He physically was a little rough around the edges, but he was attractive. But his *AURA* is what was sexxxy - just smoldering without him even saying a word!

I'm glad we didn't have sex. It would have *certainly* become addicting for the both of us!!!

Kind of. I feel like I get ignored a lot even though I make sense, have good ideas, etc. and it's simply because people find me annoying but they can't pinpoint what's annoying about me. Pfftt oh well, though. I also find with Mars in the 12th house that things work out better for me when no one knows about it. Weird! I love and hate this placement!

Your Aries Sun is showing! Haha. I have to admit I do like the idea of a strong man who'd fight people off for me - even if that's with words, knowing how to get them to leave like a Libra would. I don't even like violence! But the idea that, if it really came down to it and I wouldn't be able to get away, they'd help me fight... yeah, I like that. Pff, I have a Virgo stellium, I worry about all the things nobody cares about! Was that what you meant or are you more hardcore about it?

There's your reply to 1st house Libra or Pisces Mars, by the way. I think they'd step in and handle the conflict by trying to talk the aggressor out of it and getting them to leave them/you alone. Forward in a more peaceful way? No idea for sure, so just a guess - maybe the Pisces Mars would encourage people to just ignore them or walk away (escaping the conflict).

Ahh. No. Sorry, I've made this really confusing again and yes it would look offtopic thanks to me asking Hanna.

But it's related to having Mars conjunct the Ascendant - just from the 12th house side like Hanna has. She was talking about the flavour that this house influence gives her.

Sorry for the confusion again!

I was asking about Pisces SUN, not Mars. But since you mentioned it, I think you're right! My Father has Pisces-Mars and he *always* encourages me to "walk away" or "ignore", or "see, but don't see" things.

And I agree with you about the *idea* of a man fighting for me. Generally, I am NOT violent. However, if push came to shove...my man better have my back!!! I don't like guys who look for toruble, but he cannot be afraid of confrontation either! Nope.
