I usually get scoffed at by guys, and by women they either laugh and move on or they're neutral.

It was hilarious though. My Scorpio friend remembers all the stuff I say about astrology and houses, etc. from various conversations, and then her Taurus friend told her the other day how she reads her horoscope, and that she and her Pisces boy-thing were "a match" because of their suns. The Scorpio was like, "Ha, amateurs..." rofl

I don't talk about astrology with people who don't study it..
The other day my coworker was look through newspaper horoscopes and she asked about my sign and I told her to guess.. She was really bad ..

I asked her what her moon sign was and she was like ??????
So I was said nvm...
If she was curious she would of probably looked it up and spoke with me again..

I discovered astrology on my own.
One day I walked into class and my friend was complaining about being a taurus. "it's bad etc"
She told me being a Gemini seems cooler...
TRUEEE but...
I did some research and stubbled on it.
Anyways, think it's something people have to find out for themselves.
You have be naturally curious.

The one I receive the most is "Astrology is bs"

Eww, it makes me so sick and mad. They are sooo narrow-minded to think it's bs when they only think their is just a Sun sign and assume it's fake because either:
1.) You cannot scientifically prove it (I don't mind that one as much)
2.) "I act nothing like a Virgo, I'm out-going, creative, etc."
That second one gets me fired-up, lol.
Because they haven't even learned enough about it to say it's bs.
I don't even want to talk about it with people because when there is a bit of an interest in it, they say "oh that's too much" or "It's boring" or "Cancer Moon sign, you mean I'm not a Capricorn?"
Then I try to tell them that Aries is just your Sun sign and you also have a Moon sign and then I tell them what each planet represents.
Then after a lot of explaining, we're at "So I'm not an Aries then?"
Then I'm like "Hey, want to play basketball instead?" "Okay!"
LOL.

I would probably be weirded out too if someone started telling me about moon signs..

That's why I never bring it up.

A lot of times there's overriding influences in the chart. My mom acts more like a Virgo than I and she's a Leo sun but she has most everything in Virgo including Mercury and her sun is on the very last edge of Leo so she acts pretty much like the stereotypical Virgo sun in a lot of ways but with some of the Leo need for attention and ego.

And me, I have three planets on my ascendant so I don't seem as Virgo as my mother even though my sun is in the sign.

From what I've observed and experienced, people often response well when astrology is introduced as something fun and interesting. If you vehemently defend it or come on too strong, people probably would be like "Wtf, nope I'm not gonna listen to you".

My co-workers and all of my friends know that I like astrology. Some are curious and want to know more. Some can't care less. Some don't believe in it. Some say it's bs. It's not my business to shove it down their throats lol (although I secretly want to).

Funny story, one of my friends used to hate whenever I brought astrology up. She told me it was bs. I was like "Tsk tsk such a skeptical mind, you're a true Capricorn". She got all flustered and I laughed "Aries moon too, it's understandable why you're so combative". She actually started to read astrology articles, just to find out how much of what I said was true haha.

Me: Your birthday's November 11th?
Teacher: Yeah?
Me: Oh, yeah. I remember. You told me you were a Scorpio.
Teacher: Yeah, I'm a Scorpio. So, are you into Astrology? What do they say about Scorpios?
Me: Well, the majority of the world's psychopaths and serial killers are Scorpios, so...
Teacher: ..........
Me: *Laughs out loud*

I know.

I wasn't referring to me.
I was referring to what people say after I tell them what Virgo is good and bad at or any sign for that matter.
But I was using Virgo as an example.
They say I act nothing like a Virgo so I don't believe in Astrology, but they don't know that there are more influencing factors.

Yes, if humans are affected by Astrology, than so are animals.

It's much less significant since their brains aren't as complex and advanced as ours, so it will not be obvious, but rather subtle.

My Dog is a Virgo too, lol

I usually think they are noobs, only reading it from the newspapers. I wouldn't even bother trying to describe houses, planets or aspects i'd just get blank stares, i'd be talking a different language to them.

I shared SomethingExcellents TopNotch description of the planets in astrology on Facebook, i got 4 girls commenting saying "What the **** is this" "Is this is a frape" haha.

I've got a few people to take an interest in it, i agree with what Kerosene said on it though aswell, about being something you need to learn yourself. I wish it was more of an open concept ..

Yep they are best buddies. The Pisces cat is so much more mellow than the Virgo. The Virgo is a handful with lots of issues the Pisces hardly ever causes any problems.

Haha, you might have a Virgo dog as well

Yep. (VERY VERY insignificant though)
(maybe it can be very slightly seen from the squid?)
Although it would be hard for most insects of different signs to meet each other because they don't live long enough. Not that it would be any different anyway. They're insects so no difference can be seen, AT ALL.

What kind of issues does the Virgo cat have? Health?

Yes, he has stomach problems and he always tries to get attention by making noise. He is the noisiest cat I have ever seen in my life no joke no exaggeration. He knows about a dozen ways to make noise to get attention from scratching to the most obvious, meowing, and his favorite time to start is when he notices a human trying to get to sleep. He a super smart cat.

The Pisces cat doesn't act like this. He has moon in Sagittarius.

Wow, that's interesting that the Virgo cat has stomach problems.

Do you have stomach problems? I never really did.

I bet the Virgo cat has some sort of Leo influence, maybe a Leo Mercury and Venus or Mars because he wants attention and stuff.

Actually he has a Pisces moon, opposite my natal sun and a conjunction of Venus and Mars and Scorpio. He has a Virgo Mercury and he meows a lot more than the Pisces cat for sure. The Pisces cat hardly ever meows and Virgo kitty meows enough for the both of them. Also, Pisces cat is big boned and fat, on the large side, weighs about fifteen pounds. Virgo kitty weighs less than five pounds and is the size of a six month old kitten even though he is full grown.

He has a sun/ Saturn conjunction only Saturn is in Libra, not Virgo, so it's out of sign.
I think there's a lot going on in his mind he wants to express.
What's really interesting is all three pets have moon trine Venus
But he does have moon opposite Mercury and meows all the time.

That's cool you go into detail with their charts

I only glanced at my Dog since I know it wouldn't be too significant.
He does have a Leo Moon, which can explain why he barks all the time and tries to act tough even though he is more on the smaller side.
He is also very playful, even now and he's 12. He still runs, has much energy and fast.

I was just comparing the Cancer dog's chart with Pisces cat and noticed the dog's Mars conjuncts the cat's Saturn. They are both about the same size, the cat's a couple of pounds heavier but when the cat gets onto the dog, he really means it and the dog kinda avoids Pisces cat because of the claws.

The other cat, the smaller one, and the dog are much closer and he doesn't use his claws like Pisces cat does.

That's strange.
You would think the Pisces and Cancer would get along the most generally, but I guess not in this situation.

Their suns do not form a trine, they are not close enough in degrees to do that. The dog gets on the cat's nerves some, I think, but the cat has him trained to avoid so every once in a while I'll hear the dog whine a little when the cat pounces but not too often.
