Hello,Let me start off with a little intro: I'm new here, got into astrology a couple of years ago via my SC, who's in spirit (transitioned a few years ago). It's one of many things he's opened me up to...And in my research, when typing things like natal and synastry aspects into the search bar, this forum frequently popped up. I've found it incredibly insightful, so much so that I pretty much stuck to this one, and now have finally decided to join. So I owe a big think you to those of you that have contributed to the forum, that have already answered so many questions I've had, and have been such a great help. Esp. IQ, Glaucus, and Ceridwen. I have more questions though! So please forgive me! Now, the Grand Trine, which is a part of a Kite: Sun/Venus (wide conj.) in Taurus/12th house - Moon in Virgo/4th house - Jupiter in Cap/8th. I'm just curious to know more about it, esp as it is earth in water houses... Extra info: The Sun is opp. Mars/Saturn/Vertex (Scorpio) Venus is trine Neptune (7th), and opposite Saturn/Vertex and Pluto (wide though, for Pluto). The sextiles for the kite are from Saturn/vertex to Jupiter and Moon. I'm mostly interested in the Grand Trine, the extra I just added for additional info. if needed, esp. as those energies must be influencing the GT. Thanks for your help! IP: Logged |

Hi MorpHn,Welcome to LL. From what I understand, a Grand Trine is basically a natural flow of energy between the planets, linking the areas of life represented by the houses effortlessly. In your case, the Sun/Venus-Moon-Jupiter grand trine makes me think of an inner balance between your "ego" desires, your basic needs and your need for love and harmony in life, and all that probably fits nicely into a belief system (for example, you may have a certain philosphy of life that corresponds well to your needs and desires in life). Earth planets are pretty physical and concerned with practical and tangible things. The fact that they're in Water houses gives you more "substance" emotionally and spiritually speaking: you may value alone time, empathy and compassion, and generally speaking all things that are subtle and not readily visible. The Saturn oppositions could make it a bit challenging to satisfy your desires because of limiting circumstances or some self-esteem issues.

Are you referencing the Houses of the planets within the Grand Trine? Or the Houses that are home to the signs?
I'm rather new to "Grand Trine" info also. I have a GT in *Water* and I'd love to learn more. IP: Logged |
