Hello guys, I Would really like to know what do you think about this. My boyfriend is absolutely eart-dominant. He has Virgo Sun, Taurus moon, Mercury in Libra, Venus in Scorpio, Mars in Virgo, Jupiter in Cancer, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn all in capricorn, Pluto in Scorpio. Im totally the opposite. Absolutely Air dominant. Sometimes I'm questioning if this can work on a long term, but I LOVE HIM. Are Earth dominant people completely closed towards things like Astrology and so on THIS MUCH? I would like to share my thoughts with him sometimes, but he is not a thinker as much as I am...And he thinks this is nonsense...Is there anyone Earth dominant here? :-) Thank you :-)IP: Logged |

Well i'm a Gemini Sun, but my Moon and ASC is in Taurus aswell as Mercury and Mars, and i have a 2nd house sun. Also MC is in Cappricorn so i guess that would make me a quite earth dominant person. And I'm very open minded, perhaps to much so in terms of morals and rules. One time when i was a kid i did a black magic ritual to make a girl obsessed with me hahahaha, she did fall for me tough but i doubt it has annything to do with the ritual :P He probably won't be to close minded, i think earth dominant people are just very interested in having some sort of evidence, we relly allot on logic so there has to be some sort of proof or atleast a strong indication that something is real or works for us to belive in it, they don't do things guided by blind faith alone. I have 5 planets + ASC in earth. If you show him that it works, impress him with astrology, he should become at least curious about it. I used to be rather skeptical but back then I only knew magazine "horoscopes". When I started my own research I got hooked and ended up here Get his TOB and do a detailed reading for him, good luck.------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

^^This!! I don't mind the astro skeptics. They usually STFU by the time I'm finished reading everything to them! Regardless of their sign/element! You just have to pull OUT the information and GO!! Don't wait for their approval. Just read/show them what you *know* is the TRUTH and most of them will concede in the end. They will eventually smile, in shock that they were wrong. IP: Logged |

If you're just talking about getting him to take an interest in astrology, I'm an earth-dominated Taurus with Virgo Asc and IMOHe may be open but don't expect any really quick changes. Let him know you're interested in it and talk about it with him. Don't try to foist it on him or try to get him to take a position on whether it's valid. Let him get used to the idea that it's an interest of yours and he may become curious about it. Personally of all the Air sign energy I only find Aquarian energy difficult to deal with. IP: Logged |

Thank you so much for your kind help and answer :-)I will try for sure...But this does not apply only for astrology...basically everything that cannot be touched or not proved scientifically...And it really bugs me...But another thing then. I have a good friend who is an astrologist, her boyfriend does not believe in this "crap" either...But I cannot understand. He is living with an absolutely RESPECTED and really GOOD astrologist, what she says is always 10000% true...and he says that it works...how can he say that then that this is crap? I dont really get this...On what depens that someone will believe in something or not??IP: Logged |

I'm Earth dominant and I'm not. But then again, I'm Air dominant too, lol. But yeah, I've noticed people with strong earth tend to not believe in Astrology and say it's "bs" without even letting me explain or teach them it. They assume it's fake without at least being open to it. I try and they say "no, it's stupid". Then I'm like "okay, don't try to show me anything when you want to because I won't care nor give you a chance".I feel really disrespected when they say it's "bs" I feel like to them, I'm trash because I'm wasting my time with something that's "bs". Yet, they believe in religion, no question. Hmm... selective/biased learning? IP: Logged |

I'm surprised she chose to be with someone who disrespects something so important to her. Plus he's in denial. quote: But this does not apply only for astrology...basically everything that cannot be touched or not proved scientifically...And it really bugs me...
Skepticism isn't a bad thing as long as there is openess to changing one's mind if there is enough strong evidence and not necessarily scientific. Is he an atheist? Btw, it would be even better if you did a reading for someone you know less than him like his friend or a family member. And if it's accurate beyond the average that should really make him think. ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

I'm cap sun/ascendant/venus/saturn/uranus/neptune, taurus mars. Airvoid. Apart from western astrology, I've been reading about chinese/oriental astrology since I was very young.I think just talk to him about it, make it sound interesting and fun. Gentle persuasion works well. Force doesn't. Talk to him about it, then give him time to digest it. Then talk about it some more. Slowly, slowly. One thing that earth/cardinal dominant people don't quite like is having other people shoving ideas and stuff down our throats.

Air is the shadow of the earth element if we consider Jung's viewpoint. Here is a wonderful writing of Liz Greene on the subject, it totally blow my mind, I highly recomend it.

the funny thing is, that he is coming from a religious family, but cannot decide if "God exists or not"...

And what do they say why do they believe in religion and not willing to open their minds? IP: Logged |

They will usually just say stuff like "I believe in God" then I say but how is that any different than believing Astrology is true? Then they say "it's bs, everyone has free will and different". Stuff like that. Then I say yes, they do but free will has nothing to do with Astrology because it's up to you for what you decide to utilize your strength and weaknesses which Astrology provides you with, it can't decide things for you, only your personality. They will also say that "religion is different and I got my personality from being raised by my parents. Then I say "Yeah, that does it too but that doesn't affect your core personality, your true self which is Astrology. Then they will continue to say it's bs and how do planets affect us?" Basically, I can't do anything but call them out on religion because they will continuously say "it's not scientifically proven" and "it's bs" IP: Logged |

They can't even think logically. The existence of God is not scientifically proven either. I would laugh in their faces.------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Plenty of people have uranus/neptune cap. Earth signs probably have a trine/conjunction with both of the uranus/neptune.Probably generations with uranus/neptune in fire air tend to produce more close minded earth signs. IP: Logged |

my advice is just use astrology to your advantage. Like your secret tool." the secret to creativity, is to know how to hide your sources." Albert Einstein. IP: Logged |
