I thought during a mercury retrograde period, people born with mercury retrograde in their charts would have an easier time coping with the issues that come along with this transit. I also have my mercury in Scorpio along with my Sun in Scorpio, Plutp in Scorpio, Jupiter in Scorpio, and Venus in Scorpio. My Venus in conjunct my mercury so is this aspect the reason why I recently just had a pretty huge argument or misunderstanding with my Taurus guy after months of steady communication and happiness? I really felt like I was going crazy and all of these negative thoughts started to creep up on me and my insecurities got the best of me and I ended up disrupting our peaceful relationship. I really think it's the retrograde period that has caused this. My mercury is not afflicted so what could it be? Also, it seems like my Taurus is distant and unresponsive, but we were just together a few days ago and everything was fine. I'm freakinh out.IP: Logged |

Yeah, I thought that I´m relatively safe from mercury retrograde effects because I have her retrograde in my natal too. Yup wrong. My messages have been understood as negative though I have meant them to be positive, I got into a disagreement with a close friend of mine which doesn`t happen often etc. Not fair, we should be having time of our life :P Which house is your mercury btw?IP: Logged |

It's not that surprising. I'm pretty sure everyone experiences the effects of Mercury retrograde to some extent.Arguments and misunderstandsings are very common during Mercury retrograde, it's "normal". They force you to look into things more and deal with them effectively, by communicating openly or re-thinking your decisions, and so on.

Things are going smoothly for me, where is T. Mercury in your chart? It is transiting my 1st house so even if misunderstanding arises, it can be seen on the surface and I can resolve it quickly.IP: Logged |

You guys, we are in the midst of the Scorpio/Taurus Eclipse Tide.Whatever happened six months ago is now having its culmination. Saturn, Mercury, North Node, Sun are all cruising back and forth in this area. Retrograde Mercury is but a part in this larger picture. IP: Logged |
