I guess it depends on your temperament and personality.If you're naturally a very peaceful person who avoids conflict, you probably won't like strong Mars or Pluto in synastry. If you're light-hearted and don't like dealing with "messy" stuff, you may not be fond of Saturn and / or Pluto aspects. Or if you don't like overly emotional associations, you may not like strong Moon aspects; and so on. IP: Logged |

I have the opposition with someone, but we don't experience it in a particularly negative way.
That's because Saturn is their 5th house ruler; so therefore so it adds a lighter, more fun/romantic energy to his Saturn. I guess this emphasizes the importance of houses and their rulers too. IP: Logged |

I had a friend with whom I shared a Sun/Moon square and a Mars/Sun square. There were frequent misunderstandings and disagreements between us, I got hurt by her a lot. EDIT:
We also had an exact Mars square Venus lol.
She was Mars, I was Venus. Initially I was a bit scared of her because she was too assertive, forceful and pushy with others.
She was rude too, socially, which I guess my Libra Venus found quite off-putting lol. IP: Logged |

Yes, i did experienced it in friendship once in Synastry, once in Composite.
In synastry i was Saturn and i must admit it was difficult to go out. I wanted but when it was getting closer to the meeting i didn't wanted to go:/
