Okay...here goes... In our synastry we have a lot of saturn going on and I feel depressed just looking at our synastry chart My saturn square his sun AND venus And his saturn trine my venus and opposite my ascendant!I'm really worried about this ascendant opposite saturn? Right now everything is a bit TOO good, he is a bit TOO sweet and nice and I really fear that it will backfire at some point? It already feels like glue between us, and it already feels like it's going to be us, so is this just the beginning of some long sad story of restrictions and cold saturn energy?

It depends on what you "need" or "want". Look at your natal charts separately to see if there's some Saturn / Capricorn energy in the relationship planets / houses (Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, DSC, 5th & 8th houses). Also, don't forget to look at the condition of Saturn in both people's charts: if it's afflicted, it will probably play out in a negative way in the relationship; if it has flowing aspects, it may be easier to deal with. Saturn on the DSC in synastry means one person "grounds" the other - offers them stability and seriousness. The Saturn squares on the other hand can indeed show some oppressive feelings or like things are "too heavy", but again, depends on the natal position and the level of consciousness of both people. Saturn aspects can also represent external limitations like distance, work, family and so on.
