Topic: What house does your IC rule, how does it make you feel?

I was thinking about my temperamental nature with my mother when I realized my Virgo IC is in the 4th. Although that can describe my home life, I was thinking it could also represent our reactions when whatever house your IC is in interferes with your growth to MC in some way (For instance, my mom always dismissed my interest in astrology or metaphysical things, which is a sort of Piscean topic) So I'm asking what house your IC rules and if you find it interferes with your inner plans at all? Maybe I should also be asking if your inner plans reflect the sign / energy of your MC too. IP: Logged |

Family is not my first priority. Really? Pluto is on the IC and yet family is NOT your first priority? I thought Pluto represnts where we go "all out"? In other words, this planet is where we can go to extremes. And so, the Pluto planet on the IC would, to me, suggest a very emotionally tense home environment.
My IC is in Leo-no planets there. The ruler of Leo is the Sun and it is found in my 8th house and conjuncts Neptune and Jupiter
My mother is a very private person and we basically were "keep to ourselves" folks when I was growing up. She is also very religious and spiritual. Now that she is older, I see this part of her personality being much more visible. IP: Logged |

IC = 14 degrees in Gemini
Mercury = 15 degrees in Aquarius (4th house)
Mars = Libra 13 degrees (7th house)Both Mercury and Mars trine my IC exactly... and I just noticed that my 4th and 7th house cusp signs (Gemini & Virgo) lead to my 12th house where their ruler is - Mercury. We always loved traveling as a family, had long conversations and communication was very important. So it is on my relationships (Mercury ruler of the 4th & 7th house). Also Gemini in my IC makes sense because I always had an unstable feeling and the need for freedom - my parents are divorced, my dad is an authentic Sagittarius and my Mam a pure Aquarius. I totally understand all these placements except the connection with Mercury and the 12th house. ------------------

I have my IC in Sagittarius. My only planet in Sag - the Moon - is in the 3rd, though. I have Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune in Capricorn in the 4th. My IC is trine my Sun in Aries and sextile my Mars in Aquarius.My Jupiter is in Cancer in the 10th, conjunct my MC in Gemini, opposite Uranus and Neptune in Capricorn, trine Venus in Pisces and Mars in Aquarius, and sextile Mercury in Taurus (my chart ruler). I think that the IC is somewhat representative of my mother. She's fun, outgoing, friendly...but not necessarily reliable in a tough situation. Growing up, the home was always a place of adventure, although not always in a fun or exciting way. My mother isn't particularly religious, though, and even though my family is Catholic, I wasn't brought up in the church. I definitely feel my 4th house planets more than I do any sign, though. Growing up, as I say, the home was very unstable and we were always moving (Uranus), there has always been a lot of confusion about recent family history and family origins (Neptune), and to boot, my relationship with my mother (and to a certain extent, my family generally) feels like somewhat of a burden to me (Saturn). I can't be entirely certain how Jupiter being in the 10th will play out just yet. IP: Logged |

IC in Libra, Venus in 9HMy family is spread across the U.S. I've always liked my mother better when she was away from me. A long distance relationship with her doesn't bother me as long as I know she's well. I've never really thought about this though... I'll come back if I think of more. ETA: I also have Pluto in the 4H and family is not a priority to me. I'm wondering if this is a common trait among Pluto 4th house people with three of us running so far  IP: Logged |

My IC is 29*31' Scorpio...seems awfully cuspy...conjunct Neptune 26*11' Scorpio.Growing up there was little home life to speak of. We moved 10 times in 5 states in the first 8 years of my life. My sister and I practically raised each other. There was no father to speak of, and mom mostly did her own thing. Mom is very much the fiery Taurus. Sag Asc, Leo Moon, and Aires Venus & Mars. Haha. My Mercury in the 4th doesn't make me family-oriented either. I'm starting to believe that planets in that house indicate a crappy relationship with family ------------------

Family is something I don't have and ,generally, the people that are related with me by blood are the people I want to stay away the most,no one has hurt me more.
